  1. They've always used my debit card to take money from me. Will I DM you my letter and you can take a look? Will remove my personal data though. Don't want to put it up on here.
  2. I've been to my bank and they confirmed that a CPA has never been used and that they will refund me if one is activated. I've reported card lost/stolen so new one being sent out with different numbers etc - current one blocked. Emailed CFO revoking CPA authorisation and advised that any attempts to take money are now unauthorised transactions. Requested 6 months with stopped interest am charges. Also insisted only written comms and any attempts to call my work will result in formal complaint to OFT. How long you think they will take to respond. Loan due in over a week.
  3. Will get something written up this week and deliver it to the bank in person along with copies of the documents to confirm that they must take my instructions.
  4. Excellent. Thanks very much. My bank are pretty good at preventing unauthorised transactions if I tell them in advance. Been trapped in CFO loop since Feb and want out ASAP! Will let you know how I get on
  5. Thanks for replying! I can afford splitting to 4 or 5 monthly payments but just can't afford the whole thing at once nor the rolling interest loop of hell. I'm a bit scared of whatever tactics they might try on me based on the horror stories on this forum.
  6. Hi Guys Been a while since I have been on here and I currently have an outstanding loan with CFO which is capital 750 and interest around 270, so totals 1020. I have already been in a loop of paying off and taking it back out again, or rolling over interest - stupidly, I know. I have been scouring the net and indeed this forum for any hint of people getting success with a repayment plan for CFO - is this even possible?? I can afford to split the entire balance into 4 months, I can't afford to make it any shorter term than that. I am considering cancelling the CPA and advising my bank and then telling CFO. Also telling bank that my details are compromised and will ensure they do not allow CFO to take money from my bank. In anyones experience do you think CFO would accept this form of repayment plan - I know some people struggle and have to offer only token payments, so hoping there is a glimmer of hope that this is not going to completely destroy my life. Thanks
  7. I've kept a copy of the live chat useless conversation and will be sending an email on the due date. I just worry they will try and raid my bank. Should I go into my account and choose 'EXTEND LOAN' to prevent any attempt of taking the entire loan balance? Thx
  8. It was about 1000 in total and its 1300 as the total repayment I have already rolled over a couple of times
  9. Hi Guys, I've posted before and have currently got repayment plans set up with 6 of my lenders at the moment, but unfortunately I am heading for a repayment due date for quickquid. The amount is absolutely way too much for me to afford so I am looking to set up a repayment plan over 8 months or so. I already had a pre-default plan but stupidly I got myself right back into the mess as it seemed like the only way out at the time. I have been on the live chat and the person told me i would need to contact collections on the due date to discuss. What would that actually entail - anyone been there done that?? I have sent in the post today a letter revoking CPA and advised my bank the same. I also cancelled my debit card and reported stolen/fraud so have all new card numbers etc which QQ have no record. Do I have a hope in hell of getting a way out of this mess via a repayment plan with QQ? I'm talking about £1200 over 8 months. I am really hoping some of you guys have had some success. Thanks for reading!
  10. Just logged onto lending stream to check my repayment plans and can you believe this... the option is now there for me to take out ANOTHER loan. That would be 8 with the same lender... I even told them I didn't want there to be that option available. Thank goodness I have the power to stay away from that dangerous button.
  11. Note that the surveys are only applicable for loans taken out after 26th Nov 2012
  12. PDUK will set up a repayment plan for you if you call them. I explained that I had council tax arrears/demands and the interest was unaffordable and needed help with a repayment plan. Should be able to get one for about 6-7 months...
  13. I have everything in writing confirming my plans. Mr Lender's one doesn't even include any interest Think that organising the repayment plan a couple of weeks in advance of the due date definitely helps. Pretty sure my credit rating is looking like a slapped ass though.
  14. I currently have a number of payday lenders and have been through the mill borrowing to cover interest, cancelling direct debits for council tax, on a continuous cycle. Eventually just snapped and decided to contact each of my lenders to advise of financial difficulty. Simply couldn't go on any longer paying interest and reborrowing, and now have final demands on council tax and the likes - danger! Mr Lender - Cannot believe how understanding they were, plan agreed immediately Lending Stream - A couple of useless customer reps on the phone but in the end 11 month plans agreed! Payday Express - Told me I didn't meet their criteria of 'hardship' over the telephone despite my ignored emails. Told me that someone would need to be dead, and I would need to have no money for a funeral and no job! Enraging! I quoted a few pieces of recent legislation and requested that they refrained from trivialising my circumstances, then challenged them on their right to define the word 'hardship' and asked whether the feel that in court they would be sided with, and accused them of attempting to manipulate standard terms to avoid current lending codes of practice. They then 'as an act of goodwill' offered me a repayment plan and told me they were always looking to learn from these experiences. So in the end I have an affordable plan. I was quite worried when I saw all the terrible dealings people have been having with this company. Wonga - Very professional and helpful TxtLoan - Also excellent in helping PaydayUK - Very professional in helping too I now need to try and sort something with 247moneybox - anyone had any dealings with them? I'd be happy to spread my loan over the next 4-5 months to clear it. Come March/April I will finally be out of this eternal loop. I have been trapped in th cycle for about 18 months. Nasty!
