Hi .all can you please advice me know .R the Debt Collector legally allowed to send the Statutory Demand without County Court Judgment ?.

Hi .dx when i asked the debt collector that i paid £2500.00 to them they didnt reply to that but in the college the admin were everyday blackmailing and theatening us to discuss the payment plan for next year and they were not leaving us to atttend the class so first u have to see accountant every morning . i didnt get any certificates from them neither the other students out of their 390 only upto 20 are remaining while they only have couple of class rooms.

Hi . thanks 42man . i send some of the report when the college was inspected and (unsatisfactory)REPORT about the college to debt collector and i told them i left the college one year before but they just said u have to pay and they now send me SD .

Thanks dx yes the debt collector calld me few times and also couple of letters and emails i replied to them that it is a private college and i didnt complete my course there b/c the teacher will every time tell u to pay fee for next year then they wil only let u in class. why should i pay them if i wont get any certificates. But they didnt answer my Q they just added £323 more their charges to it.

Thanks a lot unclebulgaria67 . I was not at home but i think it was normal post . When i left the college last year at that time it was inspected one month before by the ISI GOVERNOMENT BODY which had published its report and it is still on their website that the college reputation is unsatisfactory and it was removed at that time from home office TIER 4 Register . and the college send an email to all student that thier licence is revoked . I send that report to the debt collector as well. And i inform them that even the college Principal had left the country now one of the teacher had become the new principal .

Hi : Please i would like some advice on outstanding Debt of £1000 which is from a private international college which is Bogus college and had ruined the future of a lot of students . I have paid £2500.00 fee to them but the total fee was £3500.00 for one year but out of 300 student only 280 student left the college and i have left it one year before because none of their previous student got any certificates from them . Now after one year i got letters from Debt Collector . I responded to them and send the report of home office about the college to them which is unsatisfactory and also told them at start we did not knew about college reputation but we went to the college it has only 2-3 rooms no library no administration . But the Debt collector just replied that i have contract with the college and i have to pay the Money which i told them i dispute . Now they post a Statutory Demand of Bankruptcy proceedings. and they said i have 18 days.
