  3. "audit duty", based on a sliding scale of realised assets and Value Added Tax. From what I can find its in relation to a company in liquidation. Can you give a bit of background then it may be easier to get some answers for you PKea

    Not even my car!

Just to clarify, who have you recieved a letter from? Police or DVLA? Can you post the letter on here (renove personal details first ie name, reg, address etc)

    Not even my car!

They could look at it as You were in charge of the vehicle. Has your girlfriend recived notification as well? as the registered keeper will get one too. I personally would challenge this, stating that you were a passenger in the vehicle

    Not even my car!

Were you in the drivers seat? or did you have the keys?
  9. I dont want to sound blunt, but if you have a car on the highway it needs to be insured. If its parked up and their is an accident involving it, the OP would have no one to claim against, as it would be un insured. I wont comment any further
  10. Once you have filled at court you can add no more charges, just keep a new record of these, to start your next claim or if they want to setlle before trail ask them to pay hem as well. The court costs are automatically added to your claim, You dont include them in your schedule Hope this Helps PKea
  11. If you can start your own thread, and post your POCs we will have a look at the documents you need to send in. You may have already sent them in, but its best to double check PKea
  12. You state you have insurance on this car under your name, send that to Direct Line and that should satisfy their requirement that you cancelled the other policy.
  13. Are you saying that you drove your 2nd car for a year without it being insured?? You cant use the 3rd party clause on another vehicle policy to drive an uninsured vehicle. Think yourslef lucky for you that DL didnt cancel the policy, otherwise if an acident happened they would be more problems. Uninsured drivers are the bain of my life.
  14. Mobile Phone contracts aren't covered under the CCA is what they are saying. You could trry sending a SAR to vodafone to find out exactly what is owing on each account PKea
  15. HI LD Waht did their bill actually list? YOu state you asked them what you needed to pay BEFORE completion. There are ways of interpreting this statement, ie 1) fees due before completion (indicating that there will be fees after) OR 2) you ASKED before completion. I think you need to check what the bill stated, do it say that it was the final bill etc? Hope this Helps PKea
  16. Hi YB The schedule of charges is the list of the charges that you are claiming back. Hope this helps and post any further questions you may have PKea
  17. To clarify Bank of Scotland & Royal Bank of Scotland are 2 different companies. HBOS - Halifax / Bank of Scotland RBoS - Royal Bank of Scotland / NatWest Dont want you chasing the wrong company PKea
  18. You obviuosly havent read a lot of the posts on here. The majority of people want to pay what they can afford, but the DCAs wont accept that.... Which DCA do you work for??
  19. Are you talking about Abbeys IN HOUSE debt managament? If yes, then of course thaey are going to tell you to pay. Also you refer to settleing a case? waht is this about If you could break this down a little it would help others to understand and help you. Also its a lot easier for other people to read your post if you can use punctuation, as it makes it a bit clearer. I know a lot of people do this, you type as you would speak. PKea
  20. Think yourslef lucky you didn't book with Easyjet. After watching the TV programs you'd stiil be sat at the Airport. LOL
  21. Jo POC - Particulars of claim Did you file using MCOL? or did you use the N1 form At the moment it sounds like the court hasnt got a breakdown of all the charges you are claiming, as well as why you are claiming them. If you can post your POC on here, we can advise you better PKea
  22. Morning Ben What is it you hope to achieve by doing this? What outcome do you want? PKea
