Do you know where I get the interest rate from?. The original interest rate was 11.78 and the latest paperwork says a monthly rate of 1.173%. I'm not sure what to put in the box -

One more quick question. I don't really understand why I did 2 different spreadsheets in post 18. Is there a template available so that I can start again and get it right. I have all the charges listed.....I just need a template to work out the interest. Or are the 2 I did previously correct? -

Ok....the charges have carried on since then so I can update that. Sorry but where does the interest rate come from?. Is is set or do I need to look for it on the documentation? -

I have had a 'final' response from them this year, saying that there charges are fair and just so I think I have exhausted their process. they also pointed about that I can't get help as this loan was over 35k and therefore the FOS can't do anything -

Thankyou. I received the LBA response from GE in March 2013. Do I need to do it again?. Basically, over the past few years I have tried to claim from GE several times and also written to both the Ombudsman and the FSA and got nowhere. I'm sorry but I just don't know what to do.....I'm not sure what I need to prepare. I have all the documentation (previously uploaded). What else do I need?. Sorry if this sounds a bit dim....I am just a bit out of my depth and don't know what the right thing to do it really. Thanks -

Hi...some time has gone by and I have finally accepted that I need to go to court to try to claim back thousands in interest and charges over 8 years. Can anyone out there help me with what to write on the form. I have found the MCOL site and know that I need to claim online but I don't know what to write. GE have been charging me over £500 per month for years, made up of interest and charges as I fell into arrears within months of taking out the loan. Is there a template which might help me?. Thankyou in advance for any help you can give me. -
Hmmm.....not looking good is it?. I have followed your advice and emailed TPAS. I did look at the website you suggested but the big difference is that this is not being sold as a pension loan or any other attempt to release funds from a pension. It is very much a commission. But I am not going to do anything until I have some more evidence so thankyou,

Hi...I am not accessing the pension at all...and this has been explained to me. I would be receiving a commission for moving the pension into a SIPP and leaving it there with a 5% commission until I retire and can access it. That is my understanding. I found Artemis on the web when I was looking to see if I had any options with this. I soon found out that I couldn't access any pensions before retirement age but Artemis said that this was not a problem and I could still access approximately £5k by doing this.I would do this in a moment....if I was sure that it was legit! :-)I have no experience of this sort of thing and am just worried that I would not get anything and lose the pension to boot!
