  1. Can someone please point me in the right direction with this. On other sites they have said the offer should include simple interest????
  2. I am unable to post spreadsheet. Should there be an offer of simple interest with my refund? Simple answers please
  3. I'm sorry but the last post means nothing to me it may as well be in another language
  4. How do I convert a photo taken on my phone to a pdf?
  5. You may be able to read the attachment now
  6. The writing is really small and when I take photo you can't read it. My scanner is broke but I'm quite sure you wouldn't be able to read it. It states in the letter 'as your account was passed to our recoveries team in 12 November 2007, we have calculated your refund at this date. I took out a loan and paid the full amount a couple of weeks later, December 2007. I'm getting really fed up with these banks, I'm not a gready person just want what I'm owed.
  7. The account defaulted but was paid in full then closed. I tried to use the spreadsheet but with all the charges etc I struggled. Should there be any simple interest? I have a full breakdown very similar to the spreadsheet.
  8. Sorry about the delay had to request a full breakdown. Closing balance at refund date £12747 Reconstructed closing balance £9916 Difference between closing balance £2831 Simple interest on difference from account closed to refund date £0 Simple interest for any months in credit £0 (this looks correct) £1749 PPI charged PPI start 4/10/2000 Account closed 12/11/2007 Refund date 12/11/2007????? Does this look correct?
  9. After having my initial complaint rejected I asked Halifax to investigate further and I received this reply ' Following the review, I believe it is clear there was a failing in the sale of your PPI' They have offered to refund the difference between what I paid with PPI and what I would without but no interest at all:???:
  10. I finally got welcome to agree through email (so no money spent ) that 1st stop finance was the third party broker. I sent a copy of this email to the FSCS as this was all they were waiting on, within three weeks of them receiving this information I received a Cheque for £4600 Can some nice person please change the title of this thread to won
  11. Received my SAR from Halifax and have all the statements from 2000- 2008 and a copy of the credit card application. For the first 14 months there was no PPI added but after that it was. The application states that I ticked NO to any kind of PPI. Added up the PPI and it totals almost £2000 without interest. I'm sure I can make a claim but after having little success in the past claiming back contractual interest should I just claim the 8%?
  12. Thanks Ims, have you a letter to hand
  13. My SAR is now 3 weeks late, received a letter saying I would have it by the date that I stated but still waiting, the phone number on the letter doesn't exist. What do I do now?
  14. Should I just claim the charges within 6 years at contractual interest
