I have paid almost all of my repayments on time but the amount I'm paying back is just getting ridiculous. could you explain to me why the agreement is unenforcable and how I can get them to freeze the interest so I can pay back what I owe and clear the debt? thankyou

Hello, I would really like some advice on a problem I am currently having. I recently checked my credit report with experian and noticed two defaulted accounts. Both of the defaulted accounts have been logged by debt collection agencies which I have had no contact with. One of the debts is well over 7 years old, I have never acknowleged this debt or made any attempts to repay the debt.. . yet the company have listed that I made several payments at random points but have defaulted on the majority of the repayment plan? I would like to know if this is legal? The second debt is about 5 years old and again I have had no contact with the company and have made no attempt to repay. Also both debts have been passed through several different companies before arriving at this point. Can I get these removed from my credit report and if so how? I know that I am not legally bound to pay these people anything as I never entered into contract with them and they are just chancers but I'm not sure how to get them to leave me alone and if what they're doing is legal regarding my credit report?
