Hi All I have a similar summons to above also from Excel via Bawtry. To be clear, and I have checked with the Court, the summons has been issued on behalf of Excel, not Bawtry. According to the VCS case, Excel have no legal authority to chase via the courts - only BTC could sue for trespass if they so wished. Is that not correct? Not looking to avoid payment of parking charges. Actually paid but ticket was wrong way up in window. Shown to attendant who accepted it was valid but insisted on ticket.
