Unfortunately paperwork for things like that are unavailable to me due to my current change in circumstances so have no copies of credit agreements, birth certificate, degree certificate, the list goes on!

So I just hang up on them and pay the remaining £50 at the end of next month? Can they apply further charges for this and will it affect my credit rating? As previously stated the actual car loan was payed without ever missing a payment and now this £200 for 'the car to be mine' has appeared.

Hi, can anyone advise? I took out a car loan with welcome car finance. The loan was repayed with no missed payments but apparently I have a payment of £200 to pay to welcome to transfer(??) the car to me. I have payed £150 of this but due to a change in circumstnaces £50 remains outstanding. I have told welcome I can pay this at the end of next month when I return to work but am constantly pestered by a stroppy member of welcomes staff. What are my rights?
