  1. I emailed the boss yesterday and spoke to the guru team today as still no emails on my phone. Eventually they started again but I wonder how long for???? My old tariff seems to be lost forever but they are offering a discount on another one with 3G of data..I had unlimited before. However; whenever they offer any sort of refund it never appears on the invoice or the notes. Also the new tariff blackberry bolt on doesn't seem to support my older device. I have had emails for 12 hours lets see what tomorrow holds. Thanks for all the responses.
  2. My latest update. Lindsey at o2 rang me yesterday to tell me all OK and it was. Then at 9.20 pm another cheery text & email welcome to your new tariff ....yet again I lost all email ...what do I do now ??? Ombudsmen, Tony Hetherington in the Mail. The person in charge of my Complaint Nathan Richards promises a months free line rental etc. says he will ring back but doesn't. Just spoken to O2 again... Kim in upgrades she says Lindsey had corrected me but THE SYSTEM corrected me back to the wrong tariff. The computer says no !!!
  3. Yes I did it within 3 days when the phone didn't arrive. CPW marked the order as deleted rather than returned. Yesterday o2 agreed I never had the handset and some one else had the phone allocated to my account. They promised to return me me to my original tariff but yet again an error has happened. They put me back on the tariff that was upgraded by them in error and doesn't support my blackberry....hence no emails . All I want is to go back to my old tariff unlimited data with blackberry bolt on. They cant do that...why ??
  4. Don't know how as posted. Any suggestions ref the content?
  5. ky Yes I have done that and since found out today that the Sony phone that is assigned to me is in fact with someone else also with 02 . I have given both companies this other persons name, sim number and imme and mobile number. Both companies are scratching their heads and asking for 3-5 working days to come back to me !!!!!
  6. On Monday may 9th 2016 I tried to upgrade with Carphone warehouse to a sony Z5 compact they said it would arrive on Tuesday 10th it never did. I received the texts below on 10th of my 7.54 and 7.56 from o2 upgrading my tariff. I NEVER GOT THIS PHONE OR A 4G SIM . On weds 11th I got this email from DPD saying they couldn’t deliver the hand set (see below)…. In the meantime o2 knocked off my emails etc. on my blackberry which lasted 3 days…o2 insisted I had the handset but promised a £10 credit for the hassle. This never arrived meanwhile I have made hours of calls to o2 and Carphone without success including an 1 hour 22 min online chat today. I am pushed between the two companies Carphone warehouse see my order was cancelled or deleted and the handset originally allocated to me didn’t leave their warehouse. They thought it unusual that O2 would implement a new tariff without a handset being issued. Eventually last week a Kelly Denton from Carphone warehouse spoke to O2 and enquired as to the IMMEI of the sony hand set I am supposed to have. The number is 354282071256883 this product was sold to a totally different person who activated it etc. and it has been allocated to my account. My phone is a blackberry bold IMMe********6006 So now we have a situation where I am paying for a 4 g service that I don’t have a phone for. O2 are accusing me of not returning a handset that I never had…why can’t you just check with DPD that it was never delivered???? I would like to eventually upgrade with o2 but the system says I cant for 2 years. Meanwhile I am paying for a service that I cant use but someone else is. I feel like crying with frustration as no one can help. The stock answer from O2 is Carphone warehouse needs to put the handset as returned. CPW say the whole order was cancelled and deleted the handset was never delivered…. They cant understand why 02 would put me on a tariff change when no upgrade had been issued. This is a MASSIVE software issue and I am in the middle of it all. Just confirm to 02 that I never received the handset and compensate me for the aggravation and confirm it is all done. O2 sent the following on May10th 2016 “O2 UK: Great news, your 4G service is ready. Just a few final steps before you get started: make sure your 4G sim is in your 4G phone. Switch your phone off then back on again. When you're in a 4G area, you'll see the 4G symbol on your phone screen. Enjoy your 4G experience on O2. O2: Good news, we've completed your tariff change to O2 Unlimited 24M 3GB.” Carphone ref 15501690590280 Dpp ref 356834550 I am pushed between the two companies with call centres in S Africa, India and sometimes in the UK. I now have a larger invoice from O2 without the £10 compensation they promised three people at CPW promised me an update but they NEVER call me back. The disconnection team at CPW want the new sim number. I have asked where am I supposed to find that as I the phone I ordered never came with the new 4g sim. Please help I have phoned 26.5 hours on the phone logged complaints with both companies spoken to the ombudsman. I just get the answer wait 3-5 days so sorry its a glitch.. I just want my old tariff back at O2 and acknowledgement that the new upgraded phone never arrived to me as DPP agree and just because CPW moved warehouses that weekend I must suffer. Because an upgrade has been registered I cannot leave or upgrade anywhere else. I welcome any help in advance.
  7. I jointly own a 5 bedroom property which we let individual rooms. In 1991 we obtained planning permission for three flats and instructed our managing agent to give everyone 6 months notice to quit and have the property empty by march 1992. The agent then informed us he had a allowed a single mother with 5 children into the property with out any form of shorthold tenancy agreement. We took him to court regarding this an rents he held on our behalf, he went bankrupt had everything in his wife's name to we were left with a tenant without an agreement. Over the years she has been behind in her rent and we have a court order instructing her that she can be evicted if she is behind by two months. However she waits until the last moment until she pays. There have been a few unsavoury incidence such as drugs on the premisis and a caution. She complains the house is too big and the utilities high as she is there(allegedly) on her own now and doesn't get so much housing benefit. We have offered to move her and pay her first 6 months rent. She has yet to find something suitable. I now need the money from the sale as I one of us are currently unemployed and cannot receive any benefits as they own this property. Although vacant properties sell for approx £180k swift capital, who say they deal in this type of property offered £105k. but, when we came to exchange, they changed their offer to £82k so that was a wasted exercise with solicitors costs etc. . Can anyone help in the best way to regain possession of our property?? Sorry again ..... this was my first post with the 1992 date
  8. sorry my typo its 1992 as per my first post.. jointly own a 5 bedroom property which we let individual rooms. In 1991 we obtained planning permission for three flats and instructed our managing agent to give everyone 6 months notice to quit and have the property empty by march 1992.
  9. What about redevelopment? I have lapsed planning to convert into 3 flats which I could try and revive or the fact the police have confiscated money as a result of suspected dealing in drugs on the premisis. Also I believe the tennant is assured as she moved in 1992 ..... I am thinking of selling at auction
  10. The LA allowed her in in 1982 without my permission or knowledge and without any form of agreement to have the whole house(I have no idea why, incompetence ?). As I explained before; he folded the LA and there was no recourse.
  11. She is very clever now as she holds the rent back until the last moment and they pays something. Am I able to increase the rent as its only gone up from 600 to 750 in 20 years and the average in the area is 950- 1050 a month

  13. Just to thank everyone for their help . Writing on this forum made all the difference as Barclays told me they read the posts. I did settle for a lower offer as my joint mortgagee had had enough stress. I wanted to prolong the fight to get them to stick to their original settlement but after 4 years of getting no where I caved in!!! This time their settlement came through as detailed.
  14. I decided to wait until the letter from the bank arrives and I reach an agreement with my joint mortgage holder who has been dragged into this. I will keep you updated!
  15. Hello All, Just a quick update and a big thanks for all the help so far. I have had another offer sent by email and the original is in the post for my consideration. It is less than before but with a £1,500.00 increase on the payment for stress and inconvenience. I will keep you all posted
  16. Thanks for all your help. To answer your queries . The B2L mortgage is with UCB home loans who took it over in May 2008 and put a first charge on the property. It remains with them. We haven't received the £500.00 compensation. However;after another telephone conversation with the bank yesterday they said they would write to us this week with an alternative settlement figure.
  17. The BTL has been rectified with Barclays agreeing they should have lifted this in may 2008 they have lifted their registered interest in this property and paid across some of the extra payments I made to it (although not all). I have asked for interest on this money but they refused this. Regarding the joint mortgage they suddenly chased us for arrears over the 4 years even though they denied this mortgage was in existence and sent back payments. We have always asked for everything to be put back to were it was when Barclays closed it in error. In their letter of complaint acceptance they put "In order to comply with your required resolution,i.e. that the account be put into the position it would be now if the error hadn't taken place, the second scenario explained by Graham and with the enclosed calculations,is the option thaat meets this requirement. We will require written acceptance of your proposed resolution:please find acceptance form to be returned to me in the prepaid envelope provided. The Bank will apply the required amount(£56,338.07) to the account as a part-redemption payment. You will be responsible for maintaining the account on the agreed basis,i.e. capital repayment terms. The monthly repayment that would maintain the account would be approx £854 but following the part-redemption of the account a Repayment Notice would be issued confirming the actual ammount due. A further £500 will be paid to you,in recognition of the stress and inconvenience you have suffered. I trust this clarifies the outstanding questions you had, and upon receipt of the enclosed settlement form, we will be able to bring this matter to a satisfactory resolution. Signed Abigail Fry Customer Relations Manager." On the compalint acceptance form it said " This is to confirm,in full and final settlement of this complaint, that we would like the bank to reconcile the mortgage account as per proposal two in the calculations sent with Abigail Fry's letter, dated 11May, and the offer of £500.00 for the stress and inconvenience cause." We both signed this in front of a witness and Barclays Debbie Burland confirmed they had received it and sent it to be actioned by the Mortgage Team on June 1st 2012. Hope this helps I can send the calculation if required.
  18. Yes settlement in writing but just telephoned to say they made a mistake . I have asked for this in writing and they responded verbally by asking to reach a setllement over the phone but they didn't want to offer something that was derisory. i said I wanted what they offered originally but they responded it wasn't legally binding. ps I hope I am replying correctly in the correct places as I haven't done this before !
  19. Yes the settlement offer was in writing with attached reconciliation as to how they were going to implement the settlement.
  20. Thank you both for your replies. Yes they put the offer of settlement in writing with an attached calculation explaining what they were going to do. Before this, we had a conference call with the mortgage team Kim Amos and Graham Neal who tried to explain the 62 pages of figures they sent previously. Graham Neal confirmed on the phone to myself and my joint mortgage holder what the settlement figure was. We asked them to put it in writing to head office FAO Abby Fry who was dealing with our complaint. She then sent the settlement to us which we returned on 27th May 2012 it went to the mortgage team on 1st June 2012 on 20th July they rang to say they had made a mistake. The FOS said it could take a few years to deal with complaint as they were inundated with PPI etc. Maybe the BCOB as suggested by people on the forum may be the way to go. So far, I think Barclays have broken at least 5 banking codes but I expect I will need legal advise on that, which is expensive. Barclays have told me some calls are taped I would like to get these and my file maybe?
