  1. Hi all, I'm just beginning my journey of claiming back ppi from finance I took out with yes car (direct auto finance) back in 2003. We were completely pressured into taking this out, with the salesman claiming we could not purchase the vehicle otherwise. seems this is gonna be a long and complicated process and any advice would be greatly appreciated. I do in fact still have a copy of the credit agreement and the agreement number. I don't however have a policy number for the ppi- is this the same? Was just wondering if what I have is enough to commence my complaint or is it a necessity to send off for this SAR I have been reading about? Do I then take up my complaint with Provident Financial who have taken over yes car? Sorry if any of this sounds daft, just finding it all pretty confusing right now...
