  1. Hi Many Thanks for your Response Here is what they sent me does not show me anything what i asked for no detailed information and i think half of it is crap anyway Dates 13/09/2012 - 52.90 - Sim Card Not Used 15/10/2012 - 70.00 - Sim Card Not Used 13/11/2012 - 45.33 - Sim Card Not Used 12/12/2012 - 40.33 - Sim Card Not Used 14/01/2013 - 358.86 - Final Contract Charges again Sim Card Not Used. If i ring the sim card now it says number is not in use. Everyone of them monthly charges are different £70.00 dont see how its £70.00 when i never used the sim card I got my new phone with Virgin 8th August 2012 and snapped the Vodafone sim card in half as i gave up with them after the phone they supplied broke and basically was covered with manufactuers warranty but vodafone ignored this
  2. appears fred rickson are tracking where i live and confirmed that i live there can i have them done for breach of privacy etc saying ive made no contact with them
  3. I made contact via email with fredpay and said that the debt is in disute with vodafone please kindly back off
  4. Alright thanks sorry for the confusion
  5. if i end up having to set up a standing order when i return to work ill make a settlement offer but it won't be £567.42 or £652.53 Do you think if i made an offer of £400 they'd take it ?
  6. haha i found this on fredpay.com Below is your current statement of account. Date Details Amount 28 Jan 2013 Original Debt £567.42 28 Jan 2013 Referral Charge £85.11 Balance £652.53
  7. Thanks for your comments its not the fact that i cant use the sim its the fact the phone had no liquid damage in it confirmed by a 3rd party but vodafone would not repair it under its warranty thats why im disputing. I hardly got a service anyway Not to mention people who pay a phone on a monthly basis see it as paying for the phone, if the phone breaks they refuse to pay the bills if the provider won't cover the damages. If i was wanted to pay for the service id of got a pre pay sim card whole point of paying £35.00 a month was to have a decent phone which i could afford.
  8. Ok Lee Take your time mate i will check back in a day or two
  9. Ok ive emailed the webrelations team as i said i will pay any outstanding charges before August 2012 that was the month the phone was last used and broke on me, I have no interest in paying the rest of the contract some i best get some good news Thanks for all your help up to now dx100uk
  10. I will try email this lee now and as you said ignore the DCA they are not baliffs and what happens if it goes to court ? do i get to sign anything like some sort of defence ?
  11. Ok so i emailed them again the other day stating my position with work etc but as from there reply below you can see they are not interested, in a way im not interested in paying them any money i don't see why i should have to pay the end of my contract when i haven't even used the phone since august 2012 and there phone they supplied broke. "Dear Sir Thank you for your email Looking at your records we are able to offer you a 12 month payment plan. This will be £47.25 each month We are unable to less than this amount to clear the overdue balance on the account .As previously advised if you wish to discus this with the agency they may be able to give you a alternative offer. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause if you would like to discus this further please call me on 08080044688"
  12. Will look into it Stigman Thanks As any parent would say my 9 month old son is priority not them
  13. What happens if the dca send more threatning letters? Shall i tell vodafone to tell them its in dispute
  14. Thanks again i will contact them tommorow I stopped using the contract around August all Vodafone need to do is check this on my account and they will see from august 2012 to present there has be no usage on my account therefore proves the phone they supplied is no longer in use if i do owe anything before august 2012 as i was in dispute with them few weeks prior then i will happily clear the balance but i dont see how its fair for them to bill me for the rest when i clearly am not using it If vodafone dont help me whats next Will post the response from them here Mand guess i ignore the DCA for now
  15. Thanks for your concern and help. December 2011 i took out a 24 month contract with Vodafone l oved the phone (Samsung Galaxy S2) was really happy with it couldn't fault Vodafone coverage i had signal all over, Up until one day the phone started acting strange on me freezing up, getting hot with use, kept asking me to re insert my sim card it got really annoying so one day on my day off work decided to take a trip down to Vodafone to ask them about my phone their adviser didn't seem to give a crap but looked at the phone confirmed it was over heating and awfully slow so he sent it off to the repair team claimed i would receive it back within a week, well a week had passed i phoned them to ask them what was happening with my phone, was really annoyed at their response they claimed it had liquid damage and that's why the phone has over heated i claimed there allegations to be incorrect and claimed i look after my belongings and never had once put my phone near any water, or had it out of my pocket when its been raining nor have i dropped it on a wet floor, i also had one of them shock proof survivor cases on it which also claimed it was waterproof, when i asked them to send me the evidence it was the worst picture ive ever seen, they obviously zoomed in on the camera couldn't see anything except a yellow sticker, They claimed they would repair the phone at cost (£100) when i refused to pay any more than i have too they said OK well we will have to send the broken phone back to you, 3 days later after i got my phone back it was working still slow but worked they phoned me to ask if i was having the phone repaired i said i am not paying £100 to have a phone repaired where you claim it has liquid damage where i can confirm its never touched any method of water or liquid, Guy was determined to get it in for repair so he puts me on hold comes back and states his manager has approved that Vodafone will cover half the costs i still told him don't you get what im saying i will not pay anything as this phone has never touched any form of liquid or water. i put the phone down and never heard from them again, But when i got the phone back there was a yellow plastic sticker sticking out the bottom of my phone charger port i had to pull it out as i couldn't get my charger in the phone, All this happened with in 5 months of having the phone once i got it back it survived for another 2 months then completely died. Took it to a local phone shop which sadly is not there anymore but i took it to him just after i got the phone back he took the back off the phone and it showed no sign of any liquid damage and said its down to hardware he is certain of it. I claimed this to Vodafone and they didn't want to listen going on about ive signed a 24 month contract and im liable to see it through blah blah, they must think customers dont have any rights. They kept sending me letters through about unpaid bills after i turned round and refused to pay them i understand my credit report is stuffed but ive already took a phone out with someone else who i have no issues with whats so ever a nd funnily enough its the Galaxy S3 which has survived and is in 100% working order and all bills paid in full by Direct Debit. I got a final letter the other day stating i now must pay £637 instead of the £567 so im guessing the £80 charges are FPC's doing. I contact Vodafone CEO yesterday stating i am peed off at the fact they have given my details to a DCA when they have not treaten me fairly and tried to sort this out, they came back we will happily claim the debt back and you can set up payment plan with Vodafone. i thought ok sounds better than dealing with a DCA i made my temporary offer of re payment as i lost my job due to redundancy last week and they refused it, they said they will only accept minimum payment plan of 12 months at £47.00 per month Do i have any rights here ?
  16. Hi All i can find on this letter they have sent demanding my money is a way to pay which doesnt relate to there own website no email address to contact them on just a telephone number but the rule is never phone a DCA does anyone have a contact email address for FPC
  17. Its pointless contacting Vodafone Direct they won't listen to you and will make you liable to any costs which have occured i am in dispute with them sending my debt to FPC which dont have any website anywhere i refuse to phone any DCA I offered a repayment to Vodafone but they didnt want to know. My phone broke within 7 months and they didnt give a toss Avoid phone contract like the plague
  18. Also the same here with FPC had a letter off them yesterday as Lee has tried to help me in the past but had no joy from him FPC have stuck there own outrageous charges on top of my Vodafone Bill Over £85 of charges at least I spoke to Vodafone today when they emailed me stating they would get the debt back and id pay vodafone direct, and again no help whats so ever, i lost my job on thursday due to redundancy and made a very small offer but an offer to keep this FPC off my back and to remove there charges Vodafone came back and said oh we would only make ap ayment plan of 12 months for £47.90 thats the minimum we would accept see what i mean i make an offer and they refuse it, never known anyone to refuse money before so they obviously do not want there money
  19. well i emailed vodafone they said they could get the debt returned and id pay vodafone every month when i gave them my temporary offer they refused and said minimum would be 12 month plan of 47.00 see what i mean they cant be arsed to help the phone broke they didn't want to know
  20. We are an EDF customer and had a company knocking on our door today regarding Loft Insulation Free of Charge i admit our home needs insulating in the loft as the heat escapes quickly, There name was Mark Group and said that EDF pay for the Insulation Can you confirm this is true as ive already signed the paperwork but i have 7 days to cancel
  21. Also forgot to mention just received a letter from FPC DCA saying i now owe £657 instead of the original amount set by vodafone. They also say i must communicate with them instead of Vodafone Where do i go from here ?
  22. Im aware of that i dont usually do credit anyway mate, ive got a contract phone and intend on staying with my current provider as they are excellent, great customer service, good value for money and a nice phone aswell and dont rip you off like Vodafone for something which isnt the customers fault
  23. Hi Lee Many thanks for your reply no offence to you my friend but you didnt really help me last time all i got was what i was expecting, Ive took my complaint to a higher level CEO Office Stefan Langkamp hoping this can be rectified as all you need to do is look at the contract and see it has not even been used since July 2012 so dont see how you can bill me for something i am not getting the use out of, end of the day the phones been paid for in my eyes and what loss are Vodafone at ? If i dont get anywhere is there any ombudsman i can call and bring there attention to the issue.
