to both. What I am trying to ask is this. Is the landlord can come and clain anything he wants to or he has to show me prove?

I know that the walls were not damaged as he claims and the carpets were not cleaned by him when we moved in. My question is what is the right way to move forward

yes, he did the inspection 3-4 days later and now he is saying the we owe him money plus the deposit that he already had

I moved out of rental property at the end of May. but the landlord did an inspection at the beginning of June. Can he do that? Thanks
