  1. Yes they gave me old bank statements but again they said they couldn't locate my Consumer Credit Card Agreement
  2. Hi guys, I have recently given an CCA request to Barclays in regards to my active Credit Card account but they have failed to provide me with it. I also followed it up with DSAR and again they have failed to provide me with the CCA. In their response they said that they have failed to my data. I wish to make PPI claim in regards to this Credit Card account. I took out this Credit Card around 1996. I am adamant that I have been missold. Without the CCA I will not be able to verify if I had ticked to box wanting PPI. What I want to know is that once they have said they can't locate my CCA how will they know if it has been missold or not? Also what content do I need to write on the PPI questionnaire designed by the FSA to successfully win redress? Thanks.
  3. I have challenged them already (pending reply) what I want to know is how do i determine whether the CCA proves it was done via post?
  4. I did use the FOS questionnaire and they were my reasons
  5. I have taken out two types of Sainsbury's Bank Credit Card. Their account numbers are as follows..... I have taken the credit cards out on the sole purpose of everyday spending and I believe that I very rarely used the cards. I have rummaged through some of my old statements from Sainsbury’s Bank with my son it appears that on all of the Credit Cards that I have taken out I was mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI). Until now I wasn’t even aware that such a sale of PPI took place. No information was provided to me about any sort of PPI. I thought I will get my credit card and that was it no hidden charges. Each month I have been paying two types of PPI on the credit cards which I clearly did not need or ask for. I am deeply angered by this and the types of insurance products on my cards are as follows: (a) Credit Care Insurance (b) Card Protection. Each type of insurance had different premium rates. At the time I wasn't aware that I had this incorporated in my Credit Cards and each month I kept on getting bills and I kept on paying. Eventually Sainsbury’s Bank decided to terminate the credit cards when I stopped using them. It is highly evident that Sainbury’s Bank had acted in a negligent manner by taking advantage of me by mis selling not one but two types of PPI on my Credit Cards leaving me short changed every month. I find this highly immoral and unethical. I would like to be fully compensated with interest of the total payments of any sort of PPI and any excess charges paid due to an outstanding bill of PPI. I would also like a previous statement of the accounts for my own personal records just to see how many payments I have made. I have also enclosed a few bank statements for your reference. I look forward to hearing from you soon
  6. yes they also claimed that I willingly ticked the boxes too
  7. I took out a Sainsbury's credit card in 1998. I filed a PPI complaint with Sainsbury’s two months ago claiming that I was mis sold PPI and it was added without my knowledge. It has to be noted that I do not have the Credit Card Agreement or the terms and conditions that were applicable at the time I took out the agreement. Sainsburys have denied my claim on the basis that they established that I have applied for this credit card in 1998 via post. The Credit Card Agreement had an optional tick box for consent of PPI and that box was ticked. Therefore I had knowingly asked for this PPI. I am angered by this decision. I don't have the Credit Card Agreement or the terms and conditions that were applicable at the time I took the agreement so I can't verify their claim. I have requested a copy of this information and waiting for it. I am sure that I didn't ask for PPI, in fact I can’t remember how I applied for this Credit Card. I applied for it in 1998. Could it have been that Sainbury's were selling the credit cards in their branches and one of their representatives filled the application form up for me and posted it?? Can anyone help me with immediate remedies! Please advise! Thanks
  8. Halifax claimed it was doe via post and therefore was on a non advise basis hence rejected claim
  9. Hi guys, I recieved my SAR documents today along with two credit card agreements. How do I know whether my application was done via post or not? Please advice. Thanks
  10. Hi guys I just received my SAR and it seems as though I have had 2 credit cards with sainsbury's. I have both of the credit card agreements and on both of then i can see a tick for PPI. How do I know whether the application was done via post? Please help!
  11. Now the time to respond to my claim has elapsed. So what do i do?
  12. Hi guys, I have a set back. My response letter was sent via recorded 1st class delivery but I checked yesterday whether the letter has been delivered and it wasn't.
  13. Hi, I took out the fantastic TWO YEAR FIXED RATE ISA (4%) in March 2012 but the adviser at hand failed to mention that there is a time window before you can make any further contributions to you ISA account for this financial year. So far I have only utilized about 3k of this years ISA cash allowance, leaving me short of £2,640 remaining for this year. What action can I take to ensure that I can utilize all of my allowance on this TWO YEAR FIXED RATE ISA (4%) rather then opening another ISA. It has to be noted that a copy of terms and conditions were not given to me at the point of sale. Thanks.
  14. Ok SAR letter sent. I just want to know under the FOS questionnaire of PPI claims would it be possible for me to put my claims for my Barclays, Morgan Stanley and Woolwich credit card accounts under one questionnaire or would I have to do them each separately on a new questionnaire?
