Hi Brigadier2jcs, I hope you can now help/advise me.. apologise for the delay, however it took me forever to get onto one of my cra. I have finally checked all 3 CRA'S and none of these debts are registered on them.. I would prefer to not put up pdfs incase i do it wrong(dont know who's l@@king), however thank you for your replies Dotty50&Dx . The DCA's are Robinsonway, 2x Aktiv Kapital & 1st Credit. Your earlier offer to draft a letter would be very much appreciated. Thanks for your time. Poppix

Hi Again, Just an update/query, I have managed to check 2 cra's, which none of the chasing debts show,( although a couple of issues have popped up,) however 1 of the cra's requires me to send proof to them id doc's to prove my identity. I will get this sent in next couple of days. My concern is that this is delaying my situation. Also if the debts are sb, and i send the sb letter to dca does this mean i am admitting the debt?? if so, would it not be best to send the dispute letter 1st, while i am waiting for confirmation or have i got this wrong.? Its not any council tax debts any debts i originally had was credit cards etc. All calls/letters are in maiden name.

Hi, back in the 90,s i got into a financial mess, however in 2001 i went to the CAB who sorted out reduced payments etc. Most creditors received reduced payments, however some didnt reply. I was making payments up until approx 2005. Some debts were paid others i heard nothing from. I have moved only once in this period 2001-2012. Also ive got married. Sorry to go on.. Now in the last month i have started to receive letters from dca's regarding 3 outstanding debts, i cant remember them also the amounts... . dont get me wrong i know i had old debts. .but this was a long time ago. I keep getting a recorded message on the landline stating if i dont contact them they are going to do a house call ( message does not state who its from or who its too,It just says press 2 to speak to operator) however i dont know what to do!!, its really stressing me, also debt letters offer such reductions on the debt it seems unbeliveable. Can anyone give me advice.
