We have started a business in October 2011, for that we took Card Payment facility from Payment Sense, they provided the machine through their group company First Data Global Leasing, the lease contract was for 5 years. Our business is not yet successful and struggling to meet overheads. Our card processing was very low and we have to pay 30-40% of our processed amount as their fee. Therefore we gave 30 day notice to cancel thecontract. Now First Data Solution is asking us to pay five year lease amount (£ 1,496.82 ) to cancel the contract. The card processing machine won’t cost more than £ 200. Please can someone advise me.
