  1. Thank you. I’m fairly sure I turned onto Tottenham Court Road from new Oxford street at the southern end. They’ve messed about with the traffic movement so much in recent years including making some parts two way rather than one way and so on. It now appears you can travel north on parts but not all of the road and this seems totally unreasonable to navigate
  2. Yes, that’s right, as it seemed the obvious starting point. I don’t think retrieving the original will be possible. so I’m then left wondering if there are any other grounds? Signage after the traffic light? Obscured behind the bus in front etc? thank you
  3. Thank you both. the rk loaned the car to my claims management company who provided it to me. They received the pcn with the rk having notified Camden originally. It has now fed down the chain to me, as attached.
  4. Hello Honeybee13, There has been no response, I suspect because it was added to a previous thread.Could you de-merge the threads so that I can obtain a response please? Thank you
  5. Yes, I wasn't sure whether the original request from earlier in the month to come back once I'd received the PCN to my address required a new thread?
  6. Hello, I'd very much appreciate your help with this. I had a courtesy car provided recorded on a camera in Camden on 20/12/22. The courtesy claims management company have forwarded me the PCN. I now have my received my own ticket, which arrived yesterday. On Google Maps the street is still marked for permitted travel through this section. I had no idea of the changes and have travelled down that section of road many times before. I'm not sure the signage (indicated on screenshot) is that helpful and it was 9:03am when traffic is apparently prohibited from 9:00am. Unsurprisingly this feels like just another attempt to stitch up motorists. Can anyone help please? I note the main signage is also beyond the junction, i.e. after the direction to turn, if that is of any consequence? The claims management company (previous PCN) are not the RK so would have had the originally submitted PCN forwarded to them from the RK. If the PCN is valid, are there further grounds for me to challenge? Thank you
  7. I have received the attached for an average recorded speed of 35.3mph on the A40 Westway in West London Shepherds Bush to Paddington. From what I have gathered it appears the issue threshold is 35mph! I'm aware of the limit and was probably just moving with the average pace of the cars on the road on that day - not particularly busy. Is there any recourse and if not the advice seems to be to pay up and take the speed awareness course? Please advise. Thank you in advance. Met - NIP A40 Westway.pdf
  8. I now have my own ticket, which arrived yesterday. I have attached this one below along with a couple of the screenshots. On Google Maps the street is still marked for permitted travel through this section. I had no idea of the changes and have travelled down that section of road many times before. I'm not sure the signage is that helpful and it was 9:03am when traffic is apparently prohibited from 9:00am. Unsurprisingly this feels like just another attempt to stitch up motorists. Can anyone help please? To respond to the earlier question about the RK, the claims management company (previous PCN) are not the RK so would have had the originally submitted PCN forwarded to them from the RK. new pcn + pix.pdf
  9. Thanks. So I’m back to square 1. Next steps would be to review the footage and check for signs I may have missed?
  10. The original pcn was served on the claims management company that provided me with the car. irrespective is it not date of contravention and date of notice that are at issue within the stipulated timeframe?
  11. Thankyou, so no excuse, irrespective of when I get the second one, and I don’t need to look for other reasons?
  12. To the hire company who wrote the following. I haven’t received anything yet but would clearly like to have a reason not to pay. What are my options please? I write in reference to the attached Penalty Charge Notice received on your behalf whilst you were in possession of our hire vehicle. We have now sent representations to the authority to transfer liability from (car hire company). The authority will contact you in due course to arrange payments in respect of the fine. You will note that signed the Car Hire Agreement, agreeing to pay for any Administration Fees received during your hire period. I have enclosed an invoice detailing these charges have attached all supporting documentation and request that you arrange to make payment within 14 days.
  13. Thanks, but they were late issuing the notice so can it not be rejected on this basis? The hire company are charging me £36 for the privilege of informing me!
  14. Hello, I'd very much appreciate your help with this. I had a courtesy car provided recorded on a camera in Camden on 20/12/22. The courtesy claims management company have forwarded me the PCN, but the dates indicated seem to be beyond the 28 day window. Can I contest on this basis? Secondly, whilst Camden have regularly reset road layouts and directions of travel in central London, I saw no sign indicating I couldn't travel down this road as I have done on many occasions. If the PCN is not valid, are there further grounds for me to challenge. I haven't viewed the footage or checked signage in the area since receiving this. Thank you PCN 1.pdf
  15. Ok, so the video only plays on a chrome browser. I’m turning left into 2 lanes and the vehicles left and front block the flow and don’t enter the empty lane, so I’m stuck in the exit of the box. It’s 6:30am. any hope for me?
  16. Thank you Michael, I've been here and there are photos but no video footage available.
  17. Hello, Could you help with this please? I've been sent a PCN for the above. There is no video and the images shown are 2-3 seconds apart, which I believe is de minimus? There doesn't appear to be any way of requesting whether video exists. Location: Victoria Street/Thirelby Road in SW1 PCN.pdf
  18. Thanks again. I’ll be sure to do that in future. Your time and generosity are also hugely appreciated.
  19. Thank you for replying so quickly. I’ve tried to locate it, but it was completed online and I don’t have access to a copy. When I try to log in to their site it says refer to their response - the rejection. I told them what I’ve reported here and submitted the Disabled Badge as evidence. The email receipt from them said they’d received the appeal but didn’t detail it in a pdf.
  20. The car park is the only access point on the outbound route. My wife is disabled and for several years I have driven to collect her as she is unable to exit the station via any other means. There is a lift on the inbound route but not on the outbound and the platform exits to the car park. I was not staying the car park, and only exited the vehicle to assist her to the car and take her from the station. This has occurred many times but whether through a change of policy or implementation of a policy I have been issued with a PCN. I referred to the reasons in my appeal but the circumstances were ignored. I'm fairly sure that this does not meet the guidance on accessible parking in Section 4 of the Private Parking Code of Practice. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/private-parking-code-of-practice Given there is no other way for her to leave the station, it seems discriminatory to force her to pay every time she uses the station. Please answer the following questions. 1 Date of the infringement: 01/04/2022 2 Date on the NTK [this must have been received within 14 days from the 'offence' date] 06/04/2022 [scan up BOTH SIDES as ONE PDF- follow the upload guide] please do not put JPG Picture files into your post 3 Date received 14/04/2022 4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? [Y/N?] Y 5 Is there any photographic evidence of the event? Yes, registration plate 6 Have you appealed? [Y/N?] post up your appeal] Y Have you had a response? [Y/N?] post it up Yes Having carefully considered the evidence provided by you we have decided to reject your appeal for the following reasons:  The car park is operated by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR).  Cameras capture an image of vehicles entering and leaving the car park and calculate their length of stay on site.  When purchasing a pay and display ticket, you must enter the correct vehicle registration number (VRM) and this information is directed to the camera system.  I can confirm that no pay and display ticket matching your VRM was purchased at the time of the terms and conditions.  The signage is clear, a valid pay and display ticket must be purchased for the full duration of your stay on the car park.  Please be advised that signage on site clearly states that there are no concessions for disabled drivers and a pay and display ticket must be purchased.  I can confirm the parking charge notice was issued correctly and remains payable. Please make payment of the discounted amount of £60.00 by visiting our website at www.eurocarparks.com or use the automated telephone service 0203 553 4559. Alternatively make your cheque payable to Euro Car Parks Limited (to include a £2.50 handling charge for cheque processing) and post to Euro Car Parks Ltd, 30 Dorset Square, London, NW1 6QJ, quoting the PCN number on the reverse of the cheque. This amount is now due and the charge will be held for 14 days to allow time to make the payment. If payment is not received by this time the charge will increase to £100.00 and this may also result in the notice being passed to a third party with further charges applicable. You have now reached the end of our internal appeals procedure. You can make an appeal to the Independent Appeals Service, POPLA (Parking on Private Land Appeals) using the unique POPLA Reference code provided above. Please note, should you decide to appeal to POPLA, or if you appeal to POPLA and your appeal is subsequently rejected, the option to pay a discounted amount will NO longer be available and the FULL AMOUNT of the PCN will become due. Please note - if the ticket was issued in SCOTLAND and or NORTHERN IRELAND, ONLY “THE DRIVER” can appeal to POPLA. If you/the driver decides to appeal to POPLA, you will need to visit the website, www.popla.co.uk, where further details of how to appeal (either online or by downloading the relevant forms) can be found. If the driver is unable to access the website, please call us for further information on how to obtain the forms. Please ensure that the POPLA Reference Number as noted above is quoted on all correspondence to POPLA. The driver has 28 days from the date of this letter to submit an appeal to POPLA. If the driver appeals to POPLA, we will suspend recovery activity on the PCN. Appeals may NOT be accepted if payment is made against the Parking Charge Notice, including any appeals logged via POPLA, if applicable. If you choose to do nothing, we will seek to recover the monies owed to us via debt recovery procedures and may proceed with Court action against you. By law we are also required to inform you that the Ombudsman Services (www.ombudsman- services.org/) provides an alternative dispute resolution service that would be competent to deal with your appeal. However, we have not chosen to participate in their alternative dispute resolution services. As such should you wish to appeal then you must do so to POPLA, as explained above. 7 Who is the parking company? Euro Car Parks 8.
