Yes i am in receipt of student loans, i only attend uni 2 days a week which is a total of 11hours a week and i am looking for a job that could accomodate that. I want to find a job that relates to my course so that when i finish uni i atleast have some experience to back up my degree. As far as im concerned i am a jobseeker because i am available to work so im so confused as to why its a problem now after 2years. Thank you for putting this post in the correct thread. I really hope someone out there can advice me or point me in the right direction.

Hi and welcome! im also new to the site and really like some advice. I have just recieved a letter from DWP, saying that i must attend an interview under caution about my housing benefits because i am a full time student. I am very worried about this. I didnt not know i could not claim jsa and housing benefits whilst studying. i went from an access course to university, i am now at the end of my second year. I have always been very open to my advisor at the jobcentre about the fact that i have been unsuccessful with getting a job is because of my lack of experience in the field and that my chances would improve once i finish university. If ive calculated right the overpayment maybe about £16000.00!! im soo scared right now...what will happen...will i go to jail...im training to be a social worker and have to register with the gscc will i get a criminal record? Do i have to attend the interview? what happens if i choose not too? soo confused..please help.
