  1. i am unsure, every time i contacted my old employer he said he had sent a letter and will pay the fees. When i have phoned the college one of the staff said they had received a letter and other times when i have been in contact they have said they cannot find one :/
  2. Hey everyone, in 2011 i was employed by a construction company and sent to college to do a HNC in building studies costing 1200 per year. In November, (my second year at college) i got made redundant due to the business not doing so well. My previous managing director and owner of the company told me he would pay for the college course as he had already paid for the first year. Two months ago i started receiving letters from the college asking for £1200. It is in my contract with my old employer that he would pay any college fees and he is refusing to do so and now the college are saying its my responsibility. i left college after being redundant so i only attended for about one quarter of the second year yet they are still chasing the full cost of the course? i have a copy of my contract of employment on my computer which my old boss emailed to me in the job offer back in 2008 yet it is unsigned as the company received the signed copy which i printed off. What should i do? i really need advice! worrying about it as i cannot afford to pay 1200 and i don't want a bad credit history?! Thank you for reading any help would be amazing thanks
