  1. After looking around various furniture retailers we ordered a leather suite from Sofa Specialist in January 2012 and were quoted 14 weeks delivery. After placing the order, we came across this thread (and others) after searching Google for Sofa Specialist and YesSofa (the url on their paperwork). The 14 weeks is up this weekend 21/04/2012, so a couple of weeks ago we popped in to the store to see Ashley (who had dealt with our order and I have to say was extremely helpful arranging some special mods to the sofa etc) and enquire as to the progress of our order. He said we should be getting a call in the next few days to arrange delivery. We heard nothing, so yesterday (19/04/12) I rang the Birmingham after sales number and spoke to Ellie, gave her the details and asked if she could give me an estimate of delivery. She promised to call me back but did'nt. Rang her again today and she said the order was not in stock yet but would contact the supplier and get back to me. I await the response... Obviously, given the, on balance, negative posts regarding the various incarnations of this store, we are a little, well, nervous. Equally I am a pragmatist and realise that things don't always go to plan, so at this stage they have the benefit of the doubt. The intention is to update this thread as we go so that other subscribers can form an objective view from someone who, at this stage, is neither friend or foe of the Sofa Specialist
