MAZDA 3 ZOOM---ZOOM!?? NO you shiuld replace the decals with RUST----RUST BEWARE Hello all people with MAZDA 3 Rust problems I have had two mazda 3's the reason being the first one got rust on wheel arches the rust was appearing on other arches so i called up mazda and wanted me to get a hold of body inspection details carried out on services it had been service every year the car rust warranty was out but this was due to mazda wasting my time when it was in warranty so shields mazda the garage closed down and had no records as the company was in new ownership mazda brushed me away. So i bought another mazda 3 same car made a loss selling the other halfed its value so the new mada a couple of months later low and behold the same problem contacted mada they said the car is now out of warranty but no car under 8 years old should rust. So done a bit of research because mazda told me this was not a manufacturing issue so kindly they were saying it is the owners own fault i drove around took pictures of other mazda's most have rust on them from 04-07 on a lot of body panels and even some 08-09 on boot lids. So done a bit of more research the car paintwork is not suitable for the UK market as in the UK it rains alot and the mazda 3 paint is not properly protected possible issues are the paint being too thin and the paint is not sealed properly i will post the website on which these observations have been stated and i will post pictures of rusted mazda 3's not that old and are rusting even more badly than 15-20 year old cars this sort of rust should only be coming from amatuer companies not mazda i have lost thousands on both cars i hope people think about this if there was a engine fault you can replace parts and the car is ok but with internal and surface rust is like a dog chasing its tail even if you respray a couple of years down the line expect to spend hundreds. Just to clarify this is a manufacturing fault even if check on the streets if you observe mazdas 04 onwards you will see rust on the wheel arches and patch ups of paint mazda will try to wriggle their way out if you question this. MAZDA CANADA HAVE extended their warranty by 6 years because people complained in the UK we should contact consumer groups and state this is a manufacturing fault and the goods provided are of sub standard level contact your citizens advice beureu if you want help on how to take legal action if you havnt bought one and it feels nice to drive dont by one if it rusts see your value half its like throughing some money in the air and in the future you will be spending more money if your rust is bad and are very angry print out on a peice of paper DO NOT BUY MAZDAS THEY RUST LOOK AT ME I guarantee you every mazda rusted will be recalled.
