recently heard on the radio that banks will be sending letters to anyone that has a valid claim for ppi reclaim! is it still worth going ahead with a claim myself or wait to see if i receive a letter?

good evening! i was recommended this site by a work friend and im hoping for some friendly genuine advice! please could some explain in very simple terms how i would go about making a claim for ppi from my bank! i had a loan and credit card with rbs , i paid my c/c off around 2 months ago and my loan ended around 12 months ago witch ran for 5 years after i stupidly accepted there recommendation of extending it from 3 to 5 years:| i would just like to know how i get the ball rolling and how to correctly contact my bank regarding this, id be very surprised if i have paperwork available for these as i have changed address inbetween,would this cause a problem? or can i get records and statements from my bank for these accounts thanks for your time and i look forward to reading any replies i get! cheers andy
