  2. Just to let you know that I wrote to LaRedoute and quoted the Unfair Terms Act and asking for a refund. I have just received the following response: "Thank you for your email. We have removed the £15 charge on this occasion as a gesture of goodwill. Kind regards Kath Riley La Redoute Customer Care Advisor" Thanks for your help and for moneysavingexert for alerting me to this forum. Now I have to tackle Halifax Credit Card Department.
  3. I have been charged £25 on La Redoute catalogue because they could not collect the money from the card that I supplied. They cannot say why they could not collect the money or any information but expect me to pay £25. Is this acceptable? I don't really want to pay it and I have written to them but they have written back to say that I should contact my bank.
