Hi I have the same happen to me this week!!! The Halifax sent me a letter with an offer, so I rang and told them I was discharged 2yrs ago. They said I would now get the money. Two weeks later and no money!!!! I have been on the phone everyday checking that they were sending it to me and then I rang the insolvency people to ask the question and guess what... Yes that's right , they had had my cheque!!!!!! I have gone ballistic at the Halifax for being lead on ,fibbed off and lied to for the last three weeks. I am now waiting for a manager to get back to me so I will keep you posted. The ppi money was nothing to do with my bankruptcy]
