  1. Ingeus refuse to employ me… But are happy to take Government money when I find a job!!!
  2. I applied for a job with Ingeus and all I got was this lousy email :- Dear Christopher Employment Advisor (Southport) Thank you for your interest in a career with Ingeus UK Ltd. We appreciate the time and effort you have taken to submit your application. After carefully reviewing all applications I am afraid that we shall not be proceeding with your application as there were other candidates who more closely matched our requirements. Due to the high volume of applications we have received for this role, we are unable to provide individual feedback. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in Ingeus UK Ltd and I wish you every success in finding a suitable position in the future. Kind regards, Ingeus Resourcing Team
  3. I get the impression this waiver form is like “THE GOLDEN TICKET” to Ingeus!
  4. I signed the waiver form about 9 months ago. SILLY ME! Lol… So what happens if I get myself a job? Can I still STOP Ingeus from getting any money? Can I fill my job centre book in with starting a full time college course or something? Can I ask for the waiver form to be returned or is it like a contract for the 2 years I am with them? These Bas^$&£ at Ingeus are trying to bleed me dry! They are trying anything to get anyone into work! Even weekly unpaid work trials etc. They receive weekly contracts with companies by cold calling potential employers, then send a bunch of people that don’t even want the F in job to work for 16 hours a week. Most only last a week and then end up back where they started. Ingeus need to help people get in to long term jobs and not Crappy 16 hour jobs that no one F in wants!
  5. I live near Tarleton so probably not too far from you. I’ve met Paul as he comes in to the Preston branch regularly. Southport is a lovely place and I visit loads and look for work around the Southport area. The problem is most jobs are only 16 hours, which can be a pain and not really worth taking. Could you really work for Ingeus? Hehehe. I know I probably couldn’t with all the targets they have to hit! I can see Ingeus closing down in a year or too. I was informed that they aren’t hitting enough targets. I was told a few people are finding work but just not sticking with them. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m sure you have to be in employment for 3-6 months before Ingeus get any payments. John
  6. Hey, I attend the Preston Ingeus branch. Have you ever attended the Preston branch? If so, what are your views??? I’ve never been to the Southport job centre nor the Ingeus office due to living closer to Preston etc. I presume all Ingeus Advisors are the same? They must all be taught to treat us clients like &$^%?...
  7. Hey, Mine isn’t 16 hours per week, It’s more like 5-6 hours per week. I think you’re on the course that helps you with mock interviews and active job searching etc… My friend is on that one and like you was told it would be 16 hours per week. After spending 4-5 hours in the Ingeus Office 5 times a week I seem to see the same faces every day! The Ingeus I attend has over 1000 clients and every week I see the same 40-50 clients. So where are these other clients?... HAHAHAHA I think myself and the other 12 clients were hand-picked because, we look the most active and more likely to find employment. Ingeus and their Advisors will find any way possible to find you a job even if it’s the ^$%^£$* job in the world! They don’t look at you’re individual needs but themselves! Good luck with your next meeting and tell them to pay for childcare! Hehehe Take care, John
  8. Hi all, I’m currently forced to attend a 18 week mandatory placement with Ingeus. I’ve been with Ingeus since they opened last year and they have not helped me in the slightest! I attend the Ingeus Office for 4-5 hours per day looking for work. This is my choice to do so and I deliberately take the P1$$ out of the system by posting 800 spec letters etc! Hahaha. This 18 week mandatory thing is a complete and utter joke! The first meeting (13 of us) had to participate in a group discussion about who we would take on a dessert island with us! Then the next meeting we all walked to the job centre to use the job centre points! As I said to my Advisor what’s the POINT! Lol Even the Job centre want nothing to do with Ingeus. My Job centre (ex advisor) said Ingeus are a bunch of money grabbing ^$£%$%”&% and they should be closed down! Hehehe. To my point… Next week we all have to participate in a 2 hour cold calling session! I’ve tried doing cold calling in the past and I’ve been sworn at and basically told to F off. Can Ingeus (my advisor) force us to cold call? The thing that annoys me is I attend the Ingeus office for 20-25 hours a week which is like doing a part time job! Ingeus themselves know I’m a good catch because I put a lot of effort in with job searching. I don’t know why they target people like me who actually job search? Any help much appreciated, John
