  1. We have 3 other bank accounts including one abroad - they all have passwords or an immediate phone call with a password. Unfortunately LLoyds is where our monthly income goes.
  2. Every time we have tried to order goods on line the bank refuses to conclude the transaction saying they are looking after our money and will contact us later. Totally useless as everybody knows that on line lasts for so many seconds. Bank then does not contact us and can not explain the situation. Cards are OK when on the telephone when ordering. Anyone else suffering this ridiculous situation?
  3. Thanks for you comment - they say they have no idea how it happened and say no one is to blame. Is the breach of the Data Protection Act a criminal matter?
  4. Santander blocked all my wife's on line banking and stopped her debit card.When asked why they said a" deceased tag" had been placed on her account. They subsequently returned cheques marked " drawer deceased". My wife is alive and kicking! Can anyone tell me if this action by Santander IS LEGAL without a death certificate?
