  1. Great thanks! Finally got them to accept a payment plan. I've set up standing order to pay back what I owe. Once that's paid that's all they will get - they wont freeze interest so they can whistle for it. Opened a new bank account so transferring wages and direct debits to that one.
  2. haha sorry DX - i hate my phone! I got this reply when I asked them for a statement: Dear Laura, Unfortunately we do not have the facility to send you a statement in any other way. We have emailed you a breakdown of your account in full and have included all the information you have requested. Kind Regards, MT Collect Admin Team Don't really know what to write back to this! They are being so difficult!!! I wrote to OFT on Friday anyway.

  4. Still no reply after I asked for a statement. Ridiculous really, considering the grief they give.

DX - here are the details on my loan: Good morning, You originally took out out a loan for £200 with the interest of £78 - making the total repayment amount £278.00 You then refinanced for £100 - bringing your loan amount to £378.00 and the interest to £147.42. This gives you a total repayment amount of £525.42. You then refinanced a further £125 - bringing your loan amount to £650.42 and the interest to £253.66. This gives you a total repayment amount of £904.08. You have incurred 1 x £25 late fee so your total outstanding balance as of today is: £929.08. Failure to make the minimum of your interest and late fee by Friday 3/2/2012 will result in your account incurring further charges. Regards, MT Collect Admin Team
  6. STILL no response since yesterday - for someone looking their money back they aren't very willing to reply!
  7. I don't know, it was so long ago I can't remember, I kept paying the interest to roll it over. I did ask but they chose to ignore that question. I'll email back and ask.
  8. Well apparently my outstanding balance is £905.00. I haven't paid anything yet, because it only defaulted on Friday and it's taken them all this time to get back to me
  9. Got another reply from M T Collect Admin Team - I still don't understand why these guys are contacting me if apparently I have until 3rd March to repay them! Should I call r email OFT/Ombudsman? The email itself doesn't make much sense - any advice? I don't have £100! Good morning, Thank you for your email. Unfortunately we do not accept payment plans as our loan are for a short time basis, but any payment received from you will come off of your outstanding balance. To freeze your account you can pay a token payment of £100, this will freeze your account and put a hold on your account. You will continue to receive contact from us until the full £100 payment has been made, we will then freeze your account.   10. 2 of them show up on my phone as REMOVAL and one as PRE-REMOVAL. Is there a way to find out what the actual number is? Just received a reply to my 4 emails - completely disregarding anything I said. Good afternoon, I can confirm that you are in default and you have incurred a £25 charge on to your account. If you fail to make a minimum payment of your interest (£XXX.XX) and you late fee £25 by 2/2/2012, your account will incur further charges and your account will then be passed over to MT Collect.   11. I've forwarded 3 text messages to you, thanks. Sent them a recorded delivery letter, basically stating what the email said, so we'll see if i get a response.
  12. Asmilecostsnothing - I didn't doubt you, just got fed up not hearing back. I understand you dont want any further involvement but thank you very much for all your help so far! Got another REMOVAL text - so emailed them again. My letter states I have until 03.02.2012 to make a payment before it gets passed to MT Collect. I'm not calling them but have sent 4 emails and got no reply.
  13. asmilecostsnothing - he definitely does exist! Their letter only gives a tel no. which i'm not ringing. There was an address as the bottom but wasn't sure it was the correct one that's all. I can't get into my agreements now - it's saying my code is invalid.
