  1. Okay so ive not had many this year, but I have held a QuickQuid account for a few years, for short term loans, never missed a single payment etc. On September 28th I took a loan out of £50 with interest £62.50 due to be repaid on Friday 11th October, however the Tuesday before this I was laid off in questionable circumstances from my job, subsequently my wages were not paid into my bank as expected on the Friday. On the 13th of October I emailed quickquid explaining my situation and stating I had no monies whatsoever coming into my bank until I can find another job or sign on, in the meantime I am seeking employment and awaiting a benefit date but please bear with me until I can agree a payment plan and rest assured you are a priority creditor. I recieved a notice of overdue payment on the 14th, to which I re-sent my original email. I recieved an acknowledgement the same day to my email stating I need to contact them. I replied to this email explaining I havent a penny not even phone credit or a means of contacting them presently only email and to please give me time to sort my monies and benefits out to begin payments. The usual acknowledgment email was sent on the 16th October... Today my car insurance is due, luckily my mother had transferred the money into my account (to repay when I find work) as its due by direct debit, closer inspection of my bank statement those sickos at quickquid have been trying constantly to take money out of my account, they managed to take £15.90 on saturday and the remainder of my balance has also been taken out today Monday, I recieved the automated email saying thank you for your payment your account is now considered cleared. I now have no money for my overdue car insurance, as far as I was concerned these payments were unauthorised and very unethical!? Im not sure where I stand on this, im extremely annoyed and now worried, without a car I cannot seek work or attend interviews or begin work (trainee electrician).
  2. Yeah im not worried about the bailiff, i dont own a lot right now anyways, and i keep curtains windows and doors shut/locked, also he has a rottweiler to get past! I did send £400 to council tax via there online payment system, i recieved a receipt for it, then the £400 came back to my account three days later? So assuming they have sent it back as its already gone too far with Rossendales? I have paid £340 to rossendales direct today, I am paying exactly 50% of the whole bill, and the rest they can do what they want with, although its in a joint name over my dead body will they get more than my share, they havent even contacted the other named person on the account which I feel is victimisation? My main concern is that letter of repayment stating a ridiculous amount which can clearly be seen I CANNOT afford! In the email with my detailed income expenditure the disposable income I have after all outgoings is £40 and they have seen this, and thats with a very frugal budget, yet they send me this disgusting offer of £110 a month!??
  3. Okay, my outstanding debt of council tax is in a joint name with a lad I used to share a house with, for one reason or another ive struggled to keep up with bills etc, ive made no attempt to ever hide from this debt, the other name on the account however has, I recently moved to a new property where I recieved the old bill regarding outstanding council tax, I rang up to arrange payment and the council had passed the debt to Rossendales collection, I phoned them to be told only my name has been passed onto them, which annoyed me, and I am sorting out. Half the debt had been passed to a bailiff, who ignored all four of my calls and messages, he has since passed the debt back to the collections. Today I recieved my first correspondance from rossendales by post, after several emails last week to them explaining and detailing my income/expenditure and making an offer of £10 a month until May when I get a lodger and can increase payments, currently I am on my arse as far as finances go due to various recent events; todays letter stated "we can confirm that your case has been set up into an agreement of £110 a month" I have nowhere near that amount of money spare each month, where do I stand as far as negotiating this? As its totally unreasonable. In the income expenditure sheet I sent to them my disposable income after all outgoings is currently £40 a month!!!
