I enrolled in a long distance course around 18 months ago. The service given was extremely poor. My first tutor left and I was not told so I kept chasing him for feedback on my work. My next tutor's knowledge of the subject I had enrolled on was virtually non existent. She failed to reply to my e-mails and when I pursued her for some advice she e-mailed me with just one or two confusing sentences. I eventually passed the course (PGCert) simply because I persevered on my own. I owe them half of the course's fees which I am refusing to pay out of principle as they did virtually nothing to help me. I have complaint all the way to the Head of Education and, although everyone seems sympathetic and understand why I am angry, the bottom line is that they will not send me my certificate unless I pay them the full amount that I owe them. Does anyone have some advice on what to do next? Many thanks
