  1. Many thanks but I havent got the loan statements so this is going to be difficult for me to calculate. Considering its taking more than eight months to get Blackhorse to reconsider thier initial refusal and they have come up with an offer I dont have the energy or inclination to calclate what the actual refund would be. If you could help with the calclation I would appreciate this to no end.The stress of getting this far with Blackhorse has left me feeling depressed.
  2. I havent done any calculations but wanted someone to check the figures presented by blackhorse as they admit to not giving a full refund but a partial refund what i would like is some help in establishing the exact refund value before siging off the offer letter

  4. have had an redress offer from Blackhorse but they are offering a part refund of the PPI they refunded on the grounds that they " found no issues with the sale of PPI" when I then asked for the evidence on which they based the conclusion they said I should send £10 to obtain this, when I rang Blackhorse and challenged this I was told the part refund was a goodwill gesture. I am not greedy but it seems they have offered me 75% of the PPI even after taking off some discount as I refinanced loan 1 on to loan 2. It still doesnt add up and the staff at Blackhorse are being evasive which makes me want to pursue a full refund or take them to court. Has anyone experienced this? The letter stating a part refund offer was a standard draft letter which makes me even more suspicious they expect me to just take the partial refund and call it a day...

  6. Hi there does anyone have contact address details for Lombard Motor Finance? sent an FOS form in December to the last known address in Redhill, but no response, so any help would be appreciated or did another bank take over at some point? PPI clai, is for a car loan taken out in 1996. Also looking for contact details for First National Tricity Finance. Ta
  7. I started by filling in the FOS form which I sent to them Then they replied back and there's been letters going back and forth between me and HFC (each letter is been tracked through the post office so I know they are getting them lol I will wait to see what they say about the first loan and if this is refused on the basis of the bank statements, loan agreement and PPI certficate I have provided then its off to the FOS.... What do you think?
  8. I found paperwork on a loan taken out with Beneficial Bank in 1997, it was for £3000 with £857.00 PPI. I filled in the forms and sent them off to HFC Bank. They have come back saying they cant find the paperwork, so I sent them copies f the loan agreement and PPI certificate. Now they have responded saying they dont have records going back to 1997 to show I paid back the loan. I have contacted my back but the dont hold records going that far back either (we are looking at Dec 1997 to around April 2000 when the loan was then consolidated with HFC However, I have managed to find some bank statements but not all Found Jan 1997 March 1998 April 1998 I could not find as the payment was made in the HFC Branch but I have some letters to prove this as I was reminded to pay this installment April 1998 May 1998 June 1998 July 1998 Oct 1998 Does this mean that I will only get PPI for these installments despite the fact that the loan was paid in full as I consolidated this with other loans? Just want to know how to proceed with this I have received an offer of the PPI on the loan that was consolidated in 2000, as HFC claim they could find records on this one, but not on the loan taken in 1997. Please advise?
  9. Hey there thanks for your help Contacted FOS again by letter attaching copies of loan agreement and credit agreement, asking why they cant help pursue the PPi claim Range GE Money and was told they are still not responsible as they claim their product was sold on their behalf by the broker, No response yet from FSCS but I've sent them an update last week as well and if they cant help please how do I proceed with this, do I go to the courts as GE Money are being very unreasonable and hiding behind the fact they miss sell of their products is down to the broker when there is nothing to suggest this on the loan agreement paperwork Can see this dragging on for a long while I also found another loan I had with GE Money where PPI was slapped on and the certificate and brokers confirmed the PPI was taken on my behalf by broker and GE Money. I have filled in the FOS form to GE Money and the broker (The Mortgage Group). Not feeling hopeful I on this one either but on both accounts the PPI alone comes to over £4000, so you can see why am frustrated......
  10. I have found the credit agreement and the PPI was not sent to the broker but to GE Money Financial Services Ltd, I will be ringing them tomorrow as this clearly has nothing to do woth the broker. the breakdown of the loan was as follows GE Money Servicing £11401.46 GE Money Financial Services Ltd - Credit Insurance £2480.00 Money to me £3598.54 21 Century Finance Ltd - Brokers Fees £500.00 Total disbursement £17890.00 Credit agreement Amount of credit £15000 amount of PPI £2480.00 Total amount £17480.00 Please can anyone help me, I feel am being fobbed off big time here there's nothing to say the PPI was sent to the broker on the credit agreement and legal charge, the PPI went to GE Money and it also came with IGroups summary policy on PPI plans please help am still paying otwards this PPI and have another 14 years to go really frsutrated.... signed by GE Money 22/11/2005. Have written to FOS and they repled back saying they could not help me. I have been referred to FSCS whom I have also written to
  11. I have the some of the statements I get from them yearly, but need to dig deep to find the actual loan agreement. am going to ring them on Monday as dont need the PPI and I want the remainder of the loan restructured which I have asked for and no response to that,
  12. Please help as I also have an issue with GE Money I have my morgage account with them but also took out a loan which had PPI on it, details of which are £17480.00 started 22 November 2005 for 20 years repaying at £170.49 per month I rang GE money in on 22 November 2011 and they confirmed PPI was on the loan but I needed to contact the broker Century 21 Finance, they gave m the address I wrote and filled in the FSA questionaire to Century 21 Finance but the letter was tracked but the post office were not able to deliver. All contact numbers on the paperwork I have since 2005 appear unattainable when you ring the number I then rang GE Money as i was concerned that I was paying PPI (they confimed £2480 had been paid 22/11/05 to 22/11/2011) has been paid but were not able to account to where the money was going, they asked me to write in to their resolution team, I wrote in on 29 November 2011 I asked the following questions refund of PPI where the PPI was going as am still repaying request to stop PPI and have loan recalculated as I still have 14 years to go I then received a response on 2 December 2011, saying they had 4 weeks to get a response, and I should expect one by 25 December 2011 Then another letter was received on 22 December stating they needed more time to look into my claim and that I was aware they had 8 weeks to reply by (22 January 2012) Today I have got a letter from them dated 11 January 2011 again stating that 2whilst GE Money provided the finance to me for the PPI,GE money did not sell the PPI to me" - confused here as am still paying them as this has been worked into the loan? Again the letter goes on to say am to try and contact 21 century finance (which I did from the onset) and ask them to investigate my complaint, they gave me the same address details I already have? but recommneded I refer the matter to FSCS ? But no answer to recalculating the loan (as am still paying in effect £34.00 per month PPI and I still have another 14 years to go? Please can anybody help point me in the right direction? Who willl recalculate the remainder of the loan? GE Money or 21 Century or FSCS? where do I go from here? PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME.....
  13. Many thanks for your help HFC have come back with some info but am not sure they are calculating the offer they have provided me with correctly? please can you help look at these figures Loan number 1 amount of credit £3000 PPI on laon £857.41 arrangement fee £3895.98 date agreement signed 17 december 1997 repayment of £112.36 over 60 months I fully reapid back the loan in 2000 following a consolidation of other loans with HFC Hfc are claiminh they cant find any paperwork as they are only obliged to keep records going back top 6 years, and the paperwork now appears destroyed , but I have all the orignal paperwork to hand, even down to the PPI certificate which was completed by Credit Life and Trust Guard who were underwritten by Beneficial Finance Bank? How can I push to get this mony back? do I send them photocopies or originals of all the forms I have or go to the FSO? Loan number 2 offer made as follows please can you help check if this is correct? Premiums paid 1/6/00 to 1/5/01 £475.44 Interest ofered at 8% = £425.40 Loan number 3 premiums paid 2/7/01 to 5/6/02 = £564.24 interest offered at 8% = £455.85 total offer made on loans 2 and 3 = £1920.93 Theres no mention of compound interest or am I wrong to expect this? or do you think this is a fair deal on both loans? I have 28 days to reply as they want to credit my account with the refund if I sign up to agreeing this but I feeel something is a miss and am not good at calculating what is due to me so please please help am so frustrated having discovered how these companies have fleeced money off me, Thanks for your advice in anticipation
  14. May thanks This just gets better I have other loans with HFC which had PPI. I wrote to them with the FOS form logging a complaint. I received a response just before christmas stating they will get back to me in 12 weeks time. I've also sent the FOS to Beneficial as the branch I took the loan out from in Enflied has shut down. Do you think they will be faor and give responses to all the 3 claims or better to wait and see? halifax have made me an offer on the two loans I took out in 1996 and 1997 which had PPI I also have another claim on a secured loan with GE Money since 2005. the have taken £2500+ in PPI , and still taking PPI, but am waiting for the outcome which is due 22 January, am still paying the loan and PPI is still continuing but I would like back what I have paid and the loan balance recalculated without the PPI, do you think they will refund this to me directly?
