I read with interest the posts about Comet's appalling customer service.
I too have made the mistake of asking Comet to repair my television. Without going into the long drawn out saga of missed appointments, damaged circuit boards etc, I found myself patronised by Comet managers speaking from a script. Two managers acknowledged the service I received as 'shocking' and then refused to give me a full refund.
So, my television is still broken and I will never buy from Comet again and I will happily tell every friend and family and stranger at the bus stop not to either.
A disgrace of a company.
