i live in france and have a 5 year old peugot 307 automatic that has done 30k kilometres. my peugot dealer, who sold me the car with 4k on the clock, says the gearbox needs replacing for 3000 euros.i note other people have had similar problems but none seem to have been resolved satisfactorily.surely there must have been a manufacturing fault for an automatic box to give up the ghost after less than 20k miles.has anyone managed to get the cost reduced
