  1. well i sent my data protection letter and had two acknowledgements one from customer services here and another from dublin. Havnt got anything back yet and its been over forty days, time to send more letters methinks. Wonder what will happen to the banks when every1 starts doing this.
  2. Hi guys this is my first post, just sent in my data protection letter to ulster bank, they returned it stating they could not accept cash for the £10 fee nor could they take payment from my account when i queried this at the branch.......had to write them a cheque from my ulster bank account to pay ulster bank??? seems silly to me but its adone now, they give me a receipt for the cheque and a date stamped copy of my letter. Im a mature student and basically live on very little i just recently got charged a 30 fee..... this fee used to be 16 ponds until a few months back when they raised it (mysteriously at the same time they stopped charging for the set up and removal of direct debits) now if thats not profiteering what is?
