  1. Thanks, I am going to call them on monday to try and sort it out, As i have discovered that they originally never told me they had taken my over draft away, meaning that the 20 pound that i had gone overdrawn resulted in all the fees. I also never got any letters telling me it had gone into default, the only letters i had recieved were ones telling that if i never paid my details would be passed on to a debt collectors. Jenni xx
  2. Hi, this is first time post, im hoping i am posting in the correct topic, I recently applied for a credit card and was declined so looked up my credit history and discovered that nationwide had put a default onto a flexi account i had. I had gone £20..infact i dont even think it was that much over drawn, and hadnt realised as i never used the account. i then discovered a couple of months later when i came back from university that i had been charged a ridiculous amount in overdraft fees, I called and paid the debt off and the member of staff assured me it the to the correct amount i had paid. the next month i get a letter charging me another overdraft fee as they hadnt taken into account when i paid off the debt that it wouldnt cover some kind of cost, im not exactly sure of what it was as this was over a year ago i dealt with the issue. So i had therefore been charged another months fees. I phoned up to get this sorted out and this time paid off the whole amount ensuring that i didnt have anything on the account. however have now discovered they have put me into default of £21, i have never recieved any correspondance with nation wide since my statement came in to show i had a balance of 0, and its the only thing thats stopping me applying for credit cards etc... where do I stand?
