  1. Hello, thanks rebel. Can anyone answer or clarify my rights please?
  2. Hello, I ride a motorbike, and helmets can be fitted with cameras, which I am very interested in doing. If I have an accident can I then use this camera footage as evidence? Or is their some ridiculous law about invasion of privacy and how a video footage of the exact incident is not allowed to be used as evidence (heaven forbid an objective true incident report!) What are my rights on this?
  3. Okay, back in May 2011 I had a collision with a car as a motorcyclist. I was filtering (this is legal, I have checked) and a car without indicating pulled out at me, the front bonet of it (nowhere near blindspot, in plain view, her wheel arch grabbed my crash bobbing) no right turning, no road obstruction to move around. We both pulled over, got out, and exchanged details, all happily really, she admitted in words, she was liable, and would say to her insurance company she was. Well, later in the day, noticed my leg hurt, went to hospital, found bruising, x rays were done, im fine, had to take painkillers, it went to solicitors. In the end I was very very scared of this route, and because it was such minor injury my claim would be £150-nowhere near repair for the vehicle, and also not really worth my time and stress. I told the solicitors I just want to deal with the repairs through Plantec. I sent the letters out again and Plantec re opened my case. Now for 2 1/2 months the woman who hit me hasnt responded, and Plantec have told me her insurance company continues to try to get into contact, but she wont respond. I phoned up Plantec just last week and apparently, her insurance company is demanding a 50/50 Erm...How? How can someone not reply to my incidents details, showing her to be in the wrong, and the insurance company states a 50/50? This is ridiculous. Also, her car wasnt damaged, she hasnt filed any damage, and as a result if it goes ahead as 50/50, am i going to lose my NCB even though the repair costs are ZILCH? Im very confused, and want to write to her insurance company, the problem is, I dont know my rights, or if I can do anything, Plantec said theyre using it as a delay tactic, but surely thats illegal after a certain amount of working days? Because it was her wheel arch that grabbed my crash bobbing, no damage was done to her bodywork. Unfortunately for me my bobbing was inside her wheel arch leaving my bikes fairings to be smashed in and chipped, not to mention she couldnt pull away from my bike because we were locked together. All the damage is on my vehicle. Im getting kind of ****ed off because its taking so damn long when im certainly not liable.
