  1. I heard 2 stories from Foreign European students who say money from their HSBC account just disappeared. HSBC accused one of them of withdrawing the money, but she protested for them to check CCTV to prove that she did not take money out, they refused to investigate it. Another foreign student had bailiffs sent to their home for money she did not take out or use. This does not make any logical sense and HSBC are acting like thieves ! So ironic from the 'Worlds local bank'.
  2. Thank you, I'll have a look I'm looking for info to tell me whether banks can claim I breached the Credit Card Agreement - without considering my hardship first Thanks again
  3. Ok thank you I will try that, I'm start on the case summary now.
  4. Hello Can anyone tell if there was any Rullings or banking code that says Banks must consider customers hardship before claiming 'breach' of Credit Card Agreement ?? as I stopped paying them becuase they took me off the previouse hardship lower repayment plan without any consultation with me, or reviewing my finanical situation - which was still very bad. They were charging me 23% interest I could not afford ! They are taking me to court now - without considering my hardship situation created by 23% interest applied.
  5. Hello Thank you for posting this link, I had a look and it's helpful, I am wondering - as there is no guide, whether info in this summary is sufficient, my summary is also about Banks, but not same problem... so need to figure out what info to put in it Thank you

  7. Hello I have a court case with a bank about discrimination the Debt £2000 is being used for negotiations to settle the case, in the mean time I been paying £50 monthly, so reducing this debt while the case is on-going. I recently stopped monthly repayments as I cannot affort it and told them of hardship. Bank sent a letter saying they will file a default notice against be with the Credit Reference Agencies under the Consumer Credit Agreement act. My question:- 1) I read somewhere here, a solicitor was saying that we don't have to pay the debt while it is in disput or being used to negotiate case settlement ? is that right ? anyone ? Thank you
