Hi! I took out car insurance though One Call Direct insurance brokers. I cancelledmy insurance with them after 8 months, because I sold the car and had no needfor the insurance though them, plus the fact they were double the price thanother companies. The have told me that the cancellation fee I have been charged is 95% of my total policypremium, which totals £79.65. Theytold me that they will not release evidence of my no claims bonus for my newinsurer, until they receive the cancellation fee in full. Canthey do this, since they are a broker, and not the actual insurance company? Thanks!
