  1. Have been having severe broadband connection issues with Sky for 7 weeks now. Without going over every problem the main ones are 1. Taking up to 50 minutes to connect to broadband. 2. Once connected I get thrown off again after a few minutes although, at times, the connection just freezes. 3. Download speeds severely restricted down from 900kbps average to 130kbps. 4. The need to continually reboot Sky Hub. Have phoned and emailed Sky and always told "it will be sorted out and we'll get back within 72 hours". They do not. Have sent a complaint letter to customer services but no reply. I'm thinking Sky are ignoring me. Any suggestions on what my next move should be would be helpful?
  2. Been advised by Stepchange to apply for a DRO over 2 credit card debts and an old utility company gas bill all of which I am unable to pay and in the case of the credit card debts have been trying to for last few years. My advisor at Stepchange advised me not to let my creditors know i'm applying for the DRO. I'm in the process of paying, by instalments, the £90 fee and this should be paid in full within the next 6 weeks. Been receiving threatening letters from EDF Energy over the gas bill to be included on DRO which is just under £61. Threats of referral to debt collection agency and court action with the prospect of added costs. Would really appreciate some advice as I can't stop worrying.
  3. Currently claiming ESA assessment stage but was on JSA and The Work Programme until June this year. I also moved house July two streets away from old address. Just had a letter hand delivered from new occupiers of old address from Work Programme provider demanding I attend a face to face review next month on pain of sanctions if I do not attend. Besides the fact they know my new address but seem to send correspondance to the old address I was under the impression claimants on the assessment phase of ESA do not come under the umbrella of the Work Programme so can safely ignore this letter. By the way, I am on ESA due to suffering a heart attack and this rather unexpected letter caused me to have chest pains again but my heart spray relieved the pain, thank god. Can anyone help me with my options or advice over this? Sorry about the long post but I had to explain my position first.
  4. Until June this year I was claiming JSA and on the Work Programme. I then spent a week in hospital after suffering a heart attack and was advised by Jobcentre Plus to apply for ESA, which I successfully did. Last week I received a letter from Work Programme provider telling me to attend a one to one review interview on 17th October with the usual threat of a sanction if I did not. Besides this letter getting sent to my previous address as I have moved since going on ESA I was under the impression if you are on the assessment stage of ESA - pre WCA with ATOS there is no requirement to attend Work Programme. Is my assumption correct or am I expected to attend Work Programme whilst I still provide sick notes from my GP? Grateful for any comments.
