pc world you love them when every thing goes well but from my experience i have yet to have that experience. I should of learnt you would think,after two computers three printers and finally a top of the range sat nav which should last for umpteen years I was assured by the sales staff. Also on the unlikly possibility it might go wrong P C world would exchange it straight away as long as i take out the insurance. Maybe i should expain my surcumstances. i am disabled with limited use in my legs after a accident at work a few years ago also getting over meningitise which nearly killed me earlier this year my wife has been having heart problems most of this year.Our docters got to gether and recomended we had a holiday far away from home to recuperate and relaxe so after borrowing a caravan stocking it up arranging a camp site in cornwall next thing is to get a sat nav so we could see all the sites. After buying the all seeing all doing top of the range tom tom live useing it for a couple of weeks to get used to it we were ready to leave last saturday on the 8 october all loaded ready . Horror shock anger sceaming blue murder sat nav registers no maps found please conect to computer and down load new map ,my son who is a bit of a computer wizz couldn:t do it so off to P C world with caravan in tow to get a replacement for the holiday.To be told it is tom toms policy not to replace but to repare but P C world would sell me anouther sat nav as they could see we were desperate, We are now home stressed due to the map reading we both are not good at in more pain than ussual due to exstended time travelling while lost looking for ward forP C world to ring and tell me to collect the sat nav as it apears it was a comune problem and will possibly happen again over two hundred pounds wasted thank you P C world what a shame such a large companey has to lie to sell its goods
