  2. Hi! My wife shopped at Lidl and where in and out for 54 minutes. car park says its "FREE" to park for 1 hour 30 minutes if you registered your vehicle. We have been shopping at this Lidl for years and we never have to scan anything for parking so she did not scan the receipt as she wasnt aware and its probably something new. so after a few days we got a Parking charge notice (PCN) with a heading saying that its a "CIVIL PARKING CHARGE NOTICE" and they are asking us to pay £90 (or £45 if paid within 14 days). I believe that my wife did no parking contravention nor parked there illegally. she was a paying customer and she was well within the allowed parking hours. should we appeal and give them our details or should we just ignore it like what other people have done. please give some advice. thanks
