Hi, Just after a bit of advice really. I recently suffered some financial difficulty at the begining of this year. 3 of my accounts fell in to default (all store cards totalling debt £1885). I need to rent a flat in a few weeks and I am worried that my score will be so low that I will not be able to rent. I am going to rent with my partner who has a clean credit history, however, has no tax returns to prove his income (he is self employed) as he is only just starting out in his new business. We have been told it will be necessary to get a guarantor for him, but also been told that it will be a flat 'no' if the credit scoring is too low. Can anyone tell me if the chances of me renting are nil? Thanks
