Hi all, I am desperate for some answers as I have been reading these threads about toothfairy and I dont fully understand what is going on. I took out a £300 loan with them and didnt pay it back. I couldnt afford it as the job I was in cut hours of work so was earning not much in a months period. Just enough to eat and get to work. I have been getting phone calls and emails and texts from NDR and toothfairy and this morning I got one with Marshall Hoares as the new owner of my file. I called NDR a while back and said to them I would repay it but I couldnt pay it all at once. I was told that £150 a month was the lowest I could pay. I said I could not afford this as I was very poor but I would have to try and sort something out. I tried my best to get the money togehter but couldnt and they tried to take it out of my bank account. I didnt have the money in there as by then I had lost my job like a lot of people in the world and started claiming job seekers allowance. The first job seekers allowance I got they took the money out of my bank at 03:03 in the morning in 4x £10 transactions. So left me with £5 in my bank. I called them and said they had taken that money without my authorisation and the woman on he phone was rude and unhelpfultelling me if I have lost my job then I need to send them proof of my p45 and also my job seekers proof. I asked them for the address and she told me that they were a paperless office and I had to scan it and send it. I tol her if I cant pay the loan back how can I possibly own a scanner. She told me to go to the library. I said she had taken all my money out of my ban k so I couldnt go to the library as there isnt one where I live and with no money to pay the bus fare then how was I meant to do it. She then told me that I was refusing to pay the loan as I had apparently just told her that, which was never said in the phone call, and she would fast track my application to go to court. I said to her she was putting words in my mouth, I never said I wasnt going to pay it i told her I cant and she still was saying to me I am refusing to pay for it. The conversation went on and she said she would send the people round to the house and I asked what the reason was for sending people round to my house? She said so they can talk to me. I live with my mum and I dont want people coming round to the house as my mum knows nothing of this. I am very scared now. I have had an email and text this morning saying that they are coming within 7 days for collection of £810 for Speed Credit. They have already received £85 from me for this loan and without a job I can not pay it and I dont want to go to court or have anyone come round to the house. I have no possessions and I know bailiffs can take them. It is my mums house so surely they can not take things from my mum when it is my debt. She will literally kill me if someone turns up. She knows I am not good with money as it is with losing my job but doesnt know it is this bad. PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE I AM SO WORRIED AND CANT SLEEP OVER IT.
