  1. That's the thing I'm 17 and by law they can't give a caution. Also I never had any paper work given to me. However I may still go to the police station and find out
  2. Yehh see I know someone who works for them and as much as I know they're strict I again don't see how or why they wouldn't employ me over something so petty. Its the lowest of lowest possible thing they could give me. Yehh I've heard they employ so many staff through agency
  3. Nice lol. However apparently they have become stricter due to terrorism etc. But saying that I'm 17 its nothing for them to think twice about me. Its not theft. Its merely a minor thing. I just hope it'll be okay. Where are you based by the way? Private message me if you don't want to disclose it here thanks for the info
  4. Like I don't believe that it will be seen as a red flag against me for the place I want to work. Well I hope not anyways
  5. Yehh I suppose I just have to hope they see past it all. If you could kindly read what I replied to the last person you can gain more of an understanding of where I'm coming from, ill declare it to them because at the end of the day its not theft/ drugs or anything to make me look disloyal or anything. And due to me being 17 hopefully of my young age they'll see past it. Thanks for the reply
  6. I appreciate what your saying. See with what I've been 'warning or cautioned' with is something so basic and stupid that I don't believe it will effect my current job interview that I'm yet to attend. I was told it could effect the chances if I wanted to work with kids or as a security job somewhere. So ill declare it to the employees at the chance I have to and explain to them the truth of what actually happened and hopefully the man or woman interviewing me is having a good day and sees past the stupidity of it all. Thanks for the reply
  7. I see. But surely my warning shouldn't affect them :/ its not as if I've been done for theft or anything. Did you have a warning when you started? I know someone who tells me they can be strict however again my age must have a play in all this
  8. Hi, I'm not too sure, he just said it was the lowest type of warning nd that it will stay on my record for 5 years. Due to me being 17 I don't think that can officialy caution me. It was done at my house. Also I threw a water balloon at a parked car in which the owner then followed us. He also claims he sustained injury (from a water baloon) however I know the baloon hit the car. He just wants to claim :@.. I suppose I could go to a police station and ask. Ill be working at royal mail but again I know for a fact they do checks. However I'm sure they will only do a basic one due to my age
  9. Forgot to add.. Thanks for your help. Appreciate it
  10. Yehh I understand your situation. Lucky for you. However you saying all that I'm unsure which crb check they will do. You can't choose can you? I could possibly find out what kind of check the do there due to me knowing someone who works there now. Ill be working for royal mail but I don't think they would possibly be that strict on me being warned/cautioned (what ever it was). I can just hope that its the basic one because I'm thinking due to my age I can obiously of had any criminal records or I'd be in jail. Its a very very basic warning. If I find out what kind of check they do I can then prepar for it. I can't see them doing the higher crb check I think: hope they do the basic one just to make them aware if I have and convictions in which case I don't.
  11. Hey everyone, please can someone guide me. Recently I got a warning given to me.. Due to me being 17 that's all they could do however I'm unsure as to whether what he actually gave me. He said it would be on my record for 5 years and would effect me working with kids or elderly etc etc. However I've got a job interview which I know will require a crb check and I'm just wondering whether my 'warning or caution' (what ever it was) will show up on the check. Again I'm 17 and he said it was the lowest of lowest warnings however he said it was still stay on my record for the 5 years. So someone please tell me whether it will show on my crb check. Also if there any offical way I can check whether it will show e.g. Going to the police station and asking. Thanks
