  1. Sorry about that, my dongle connection was playing up and I didn't see my question appear so assumed connection went off-line and didn't update.
  2. Hi, I notice on my Credit File that British Gas are reporting my Gas and Electricity accounts and updating monthly, I'm not in arrears and have never been. Is this normally shown on a Credit File? Thank you Pearl123
  3. Hi all, Just wanted to give an update. Have received a reply from Barclays, enclosing my £10 cheque. Letter states " I note that your request was made in relation to a claim for the sale of PPI. I attach a search of our systems which give a complete summary of current and historic products relating to your record and identifies whether PPI was sold with a Y or N. Start and end dates are also shown against each produce. This information is sufficient to enable you to progress a claim under PPI". All the products/accounts have a N beside them. So I take it that I don't have any PPI claim, but what about charges on the credit card and current accounts? What should I do? Thank you pearl123
  4. Thank you for your reply. If I can, I will pay it off in full as I think this will show as a positive(?) to lenders, should I ever try for credit again.
  5. It was/is with Mercers, I rang BC and agreed a replayment plan (as it was into 6 months late payments and wanted to stop it going to default) I receive statements each month showing the amount I pay. So yes it's probably a "live" account. If I pay it off in full will all the payment history be cleared and not show as a negative on my Credit File?
  6. Hello, Onmy credit file I have late payments against my mortgage (lost my job but now inemployment:whoo:) showing: 1(month late) 1(month Late) 2(months late) 3(months late) 3(months late) 3(months late) Doesthis reflect as 6 months late? because on the front page of my Credit File thisis adding 6 late payments to “Number of late payments in past 12 months”. The6 late payments for my credit card show as months 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Thismakes more sense to me. Anyinsight appreciated. Pearl123
  7. Hello, I have a repayment plan in place with BC. I now maybe able to repay the whole outstanding amount but wanted to know if I call them to see if they would settle for a lower amount and to remove the 6 late payments which are showing on my Credit File. (I am awaiting a reply from my SAR request, although I only sent this via normal post) Would they do that? Pearl123
  8. Thank you all. I will read up on this and write to the relevant departments. Pearl123
  9. Antone, We were on Income based JSA - does that make a difference? I will write to the Council re: Benefit What about the MIS - I will write to them also to update them but this may also stop?? I should be earning around £12ph so not low income, I just don't want to get into arrears as everything will stop together which is worrying.
  10. Antone Yes I was main claimant. I will be working full time (temping) 37.5 hrs a week.
  11. Hello, Husband and myself were on Joint Claim Job seekers Allowance (for 8 months), I have now finally found a job. I was told that immediately the following would stop: My JSA (obviously) Husband's JSA MIS (Mortgage Interest Support) Council tax payment Is this correct that hubby's should also stop?? Advice much appreciated. Pearl123
  12. Just another question, sorry. Can I send the letter to this address; One Churchill Place, London E14 - for both Barclays and BC ? Pearl123
  13. Hi I have decided to SAR Barclays using the letter template and enclosing my £10 cheque. I am going to do all my Barclays accounts and BC. So fingers crossed I am owed something. Thank you all for the encouragement. Pearl123
  14. Bang! - thank you just thought that I could find out why, more for myself going forwards when I apply for other jobs...... Johnvernon74 - yes it was with a high street bank at their HQ as PA.
  15. Dear all, Sorry, but this may sound a stupid question for which I apologise. I now have a payment arrangement with BC (£61 per month). I have been reading about people claiming back chargesbut I’m worried if I send a SAR that BC might turn nasty and request a highermonthly payment or full repayment. Could that happen? I also have accounts with Barclays which I would like to send a SAR but if something/nothingis owed, do they look unfavourably on you - is it possible they might close myaccounts? Not sure what to do, but every penny would help me right now. Thank you Pearl123
