  1. Hi all I've had a letter off them this morning offering me a partial payment of 5% of my claim. Obviously i am not accepting it. I have gone to the Money Claim site and filled in teh form and paid the court fees etc. My question is..do i have to send a letter to the Abbey telling them what i am doing? or..? thanks all Bladey
  2. well, i dunno, because everytime i send a letter to one place, it comes back with a different address on. my latest letter has.. Complaints Abbey PO Box 5129 Milton Keynes MK9 2yn on it.
  3. it was the "prliminary approach for repayment" that i last sent.
  4. yes, it's me once again!! the last thing i sent to the Abbey was a statement of charges where i had listed all the charges and the dates of them etc. I have received a letter back today saying that they are very sorry, but the charges were pointed out when i opened my account and therefore they will not be giving me my pennies back! They totally patronise me saying that i need to look after my account better and if i want to go speak to a CS Advisor about it then i can do. GGRR stupid bints! Soooooooooooooooooooo..what now? I go on hols in a couple of days and want to get this sorted before then really. Any help is as always much appreciated (i think you all know that i really struggle with all of this!) Nicky
  5. aaah i'm with ya now, your "sig" wasnt showing the first time around.
  6. oh i am clever then lol don't think i really went overdrawn as such. it's just all those unpaid direct debit charges that i have! still confused about Statement of Charges, been looking everywhere for pro-forma an dcan't find one Blade
  7. thanks Nick, it's hard work isn't it, but worth it when it all works out as it has for so many on here from what i have read. Am just struggling now with Statement of Charges. Do i have to write down all the times they have charged me? or can i just send them the bank statements with the highlights on?
  8. Hi Is there a pro forma for the Schedule of Charges please that i have to send with my request for repayment? If there is, i can't find it Please help Thanks Blade
  9. aaah thanks for that. why do i find these things so hard? :-| i've worked out that unpaid direct debit charges = £953 so that is what i am interesting in claiming for. i am now giong to send the letter "preliminary approach for repayment". That's right huh? :? I'll go have a browse around at what you suggest and pray i don't get lost again. Gosh, cyber world is scary Blade
  10. Ok, the whole 8% thing seems far too complicated for me. Am going to do it without that bit if i can. Do i still need to fill a spreadsheet in? (hope not cos i have never used one before lol) Blade
  11. Hi all I am been coping pretty well on my own of late after my disastrous attempt at negotiating my way around here in the early days! I now have all my 6 years of statements through and i have bene through with a highlighter highlighting all the charges. God there are loads!!! I was very proud of myself, i sorted out the Microfiche stuff by myself, well with the help of the Stickys I think that i am now supposed to put them into the Interest Calculation Spreadsheet. Is that correct? I'm just a bit confused as to all this 8% business. Could someone please spare a minute to explain to me? Much appreciated ~Blade
