  1. I was hoping to find more opinions about the proposed legal action against RBS. I joined this Action Group when it was formed as like many others, I was smarting (and still am) from the misleading information given by the Bank's Board and in particular, Fred Goodwin (I will not accord him the title of "Sir"). Since then there have been bulletins outlining progress towards litigation. Matters have now reached the point when shareholders who joined are being asked to pay a minimum of £150 to finance legal costs and hopefully, receive some recompense at the end of the day, for their losses incurred due to the perceived misleading Rights Issue. It is very difficult to discuss this with anyone let alone other shareholders as there doesn't appear to be a "disgruntled shareholders" forum anywhere that I can find. Hope this doesn't sound naive, but I am merely seeking some reassurance that I am not throwing good money after bad, and wonder whether many other people have subscribed yet. There is a new deadline of 1 July as a similar request was made earlier this year. Enquiries to the Action Group itself have not been answered.
