  3. thanks for your help C-130. Any idea of the customer service phone number, no worries if not cos I will find it. I'm out all today but will phone on Monday as I'm guessing they are closed all weekend. Thanks again
  4. thank you for your quick reply, its most helpful, do you know if there is a certain time scale in which it would need to be repaired and returned to me. Just that I use my laptop quite a bit and its really inconvenient that I'm going to be without it. Thanks.
  5. Hi, only just found this forum so if I'm in the wrong place or anything please direct me to where I should be. Just wondering if anyone can help me. I bought a laptop from PC World on 26th December and last night I got a message come up saying the my drive is failing and it should be turned off immediately, it directed me through some checks which I followed and the only thing that appears not to be failling is the battery and memory. Does anyone know where I stand with this? I didn't take out additional insurance so I'm assuming because it is less than 1 year I would be entitled to PC World sorting it out. Would it be down to them to repair or should it be replaced because it is so new? Thanks in advance, Zoe.
