  1. Thanks all it looks like the Dealership has won this battle my partner doesn't want to cause any more stress and the threat of bad feeling, it is with frustration we have conceded. Can't find an example of how to write a letter requesting a refund. I'm no good at this...
  2. It wasn't pointed out to us 'To take note of Special instructions/ Notes', not until after we called to say we have changed our decision. There's no part exchange. the agreement was setup as a PCP agreement.. We went ahead and signed because we thought by not signing we will lose the colour we was after, with the distruption being the way they are in Japan. He made it clear we could be waiting sometime. I feel real stupid not looking into our rights before going to the Dealership. Its a basic mistake and our guards was down... I can't see us getting our deposit back!!!
  3. Thank You BankFodder and raydetinu, for your prompt reply its good to known the CAG is on call, I legged it down to the dealership Gordon Lamb, demanding a breakdown of cost incurred sofar only to be brickwalled... They made it clear to me that under 'Special Instruction/ Notes' that was signed it states - 'Please Note - All Deposits are non refundable'.. We are now thinking its game over. There's now way out, what happened to 14 days cooling of period ???
  4. Want to cancel a New Vehicle Order with Gordon Lamb-Toyota, left a Credit and Debit card deposit totaling £699, signed NVO form on 30/4/11 after sleeping on it we changed our mind. Car order was found in UK to our spec, on the monday thought not to go through with it, but Dealership will not give deposit back supposedly due to expense incurred delivering car to Location, Delivery date 12/05/11. Is the dealership right telling us there's 'no chance' and that we've lost our deposit two days later even though its a Bank Holiday weekend? Please help!!
