  1. Thank you so much for your reply I will contact the bank. This site is fab! Both of you have been so helpful thanks x
  2. Thank you so much your reply is very helpful indeed. The first engineer repaired some sort of plug from the top of the machine thinking it was an electrical fault. The second egineer changed the washers. I have the reciept from both jobs. Now they have offered a third egineer who cannot come till the 5th August. I am going to take your advice and write to them immediatley. Thank you for your help.
  3. Hi All, I bought an indesit washing machine online from Curry's I was working away from home for a month so didn't use it for the first month. When I first used it all seemed fine until I went back a day later and there was a puddle in the bottom of the drum. I have had 2 engineers out and the fault is still there. I contacted currys who said as it was older than 30 days they couldn't give me a refund unless an engineer rights it off as faulty. I am now waiting till 5th August for a third engineer to come out and "fix this". Does anyone know my rights? The machine was bought on 16th April 2016. Thanks in advance. 4. I notice it was MOT tested at the dealership place. Is it normal for a place to both sell, service and MOT is it seems dodgy to my cynical head!
  5. Nope no advisory notes at all. It could just be one of those things however the dealer is still liable to pay! Thanks again for all your help.
  6. I have just checked online and it was Mot tested so it is genuine. I have sent a letter requesting the dealer pay for the car to be fixed. Thanks for all your replies.
  7. I will be! It's all so annoying and caused extra stress I don't need. Is there a letter template anywhere on this site for complaints of faulty goods?
  8. Hi thanks for the welcome and informative post. The car is a Ford Fiesta 56 Reg. It has just had an MOT and Service done. The pipe had a small hole in it.
  9. Hi all, I bought a used car from a dealer that isn't in my immediate area however we previously have bought a car from them so thought they were ok. I bought the car on the 8th April and was driving it on 11th April when the power steering failed. The Ford garage I took it to to originally said it needed a new power steering pipe however when fitting it have realised there is also a problem with the power steering pump. To have it fixed will cost aroung £620. The dealer is himming and hahing about the warrenty not covering this problem. A friend told me that nevermind warrenties there is a piece of legislation that protects my rights. Can anyone offer me any help or advice? Thanks in advance.
