Promised a sofa in 4 weeks, paid a 50% deposit, it took 16 weeks. I had to phone them repeatedly to get any information. I told them I was disappointed and asked for a small recognition of their failure to meet delivery timescales as promised. I was told "either pay the remainder or lose your deposit" and "anyway it has only taken 16 weeks we don't pay compensation until it's over 24 weeks" So why did you tell me it would only take 4 weeks to deliver when I ordered then?
