  1. Thank you DX for your response, I did read the comment 27 but needed further clarification. The CCJ doesnt appear on my file any more but as you have pointed out that CCJ can be enforceable for the rest of life. I am thinking now that we are applying to get a mortgage, would it be not worth it if I were to engage in early settlement offers? CAPQuest once offered 60% discount around two years ago. I am just worried about CapQuest trying to get a charge against my house or order against the earnings. Surely settlement offers would be a better option? thank you again.
  2. so should I contact BC to start reactivating the payments as agreed in the variation order in 2011?
  3. Hi, I was issued a CCJ in October 2010 and subsequently was agreed to pay £1 per month through variation order. I was under the impression that the company will be deducting £1 from the account per month but they have not been taking any money from 2013 onward. My question is; Is it possible for a CCJ to be enforced (either through charging order after six years of no activity? The history of this conversation till 2013 his available on https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/topic/339058-arrow-global-gtbryan-carter-ccj-issued/page/2/?_fromLogin=1 I read the following quote but not sure about the authenticity and wanted to find out from CAG community as advice over here is much superior. I have been receiving one or two phishing letters a year from the above companies. What should my next course of action be? As ever, I am very grateful for your advice. Thank you,
  4. Thank you very much for the response. Shall wait for a month and update.
  5. Just a quick update that CCJ is still on my record despite its 6th birthday being today. May be it would take them one more month to clear it off?
  6. Thank you DX. I shall wait till tomorrow and check Noddle again. CCJ was issued on 5th of October 2010, don't know why Noddle is showing this up. Research on the net suggests that it is 6 years and a month before it is taken off the register. As always very grateful for the advice. Will update of any activity. AKI
  7. Hi, Further to your help above, the judgement was issued on 5th of October. I have not engaged in any correspondence with them since I last updated this forum entry above. The CCJ shows that it is still active as of today 4th of October on Noddle. What are my options to get CCJ removed from my credit file? Can this CCJ be reinforced? If so what would my best options be in this case. As always, I shall be grateful. Thank you Aki
  8. DCA means I should ignore them right? Thank you for your help as always.
  9. Hi All/Dx, I have started to hear back from these guys out of no where. I have attached the letters I have received so far. Please note that I have moved to a new address now and they initially started off as a phishing letter and since I did not reply, they have ''assumed'' I live in this new address. The recent letter suggests some sort of settlement option if I were to give them a call. Arrowglobal has apparently passed on my debt to their sister company Akinika. Please advise as to what my options are now? It was them who were not taking £1 of payment that i had set up. Also note that the judgement was issued in Oct 2010. As always, very grateful for the help. 4 letters in two documents are attached with this post, settlement suggestions are highlighted.
  10. Hello All, Further to my correspondence above with DLC I received the update on this one last week from DLC again. Which was just a copy of their previous letter. Asking me to pay. That letter has already been attached in this thread previously where they bullet point and outline why I should pay. I am just waiting and seeing their next move.
  11. Here is a further update on this case. Its a very good news. I have now 2 out of 5 cases to resolve. One for DLC and other for Arrow Global. I am indebted to you guys as ever. I received the attached on Friday last week. I am indebted to you guys for this. I owe this website and the people here a lot. Hopefully you guys shall accept my gratitude on my next pay day. Thanks. I am now excited about your advice on my other matters that I opened on this website.
  12. Hello Guys, Another one bits the dust. All of my Lowell accounts have been closed. Only DLC and Arrow Global remaining. Please see attached. I received the attached on Friday last week. I am indebted to you guys for this. I owe this website and the people here a lot. Hopefully you guys shall accept my gratitude on my next pay day. Thanks. I am now excited about your advice on my other matters that I opened on this website.

  14. Thanks brig, I have written the following to them already. As of today, I acknowledge the receipt of the letter dated 25th of July. I have gone through the contents of your letter and reject your findings as of below. 1. I consider account still in dispute and reject the contents as unless the request is complied with EXACTLY on time the account is in dispute and will remain so until the request is satisfied. 2. I am still waiting for all the information that you are supposed to provide under s77/78. Therefore, I categorically dispute this account and your suggestion of tracing me further is nullified on these grounds. Any reinstatement of this account and threatening correspondence would tantamount to extortionist behaviour and would be liable for criminal proceedings against you once a complaint has been lodged and strongly pursued with the ICO subsequently. Sincerely,
